"Okay, that'll be fine." Amy said handing Zelda a pill.Terri Violet Tsukino wrote:Terrence/Zelda thinks to herself, starting to sweat a bit due to worrying and her headache...placing a hand to her forehead, she tries to sort things out. She realizes that if she does not take the pill, she will feel more and more like Zelda...and because of this she will have to bare the hardship of both having a increasing painful migraine, and the shame of never quite acting like the beautiful she had once admired, but now had become. She at first thinks that she will be better off defiantly baring her headache and her shame, believing that holding onto her past is more important than anything.
However, she suddenly remembers the kindess that has been shown to her upon coming to the park...and the mysterious, clear, pure, serene look in the eyes of the girls she has met upon coming to the park...even Purin, whom she knew had been forced to forget her past. It slowly sinks into her that all of these girls were once boys like herself...and yet have found some sort of peace in this place.
With that, her pride melts away...and she realizes that, even though she did not choose for any of this to happen, that it is a blessing...just an odd sort of blessing. Even though she was pulled from the familarity of her normal life, she has been granted a second chance to be truly happy rather jus complacent and comfortable. She is still afraid, but it is now an exhilariting and strangely enjoyable fear that grips her...she is ready to face the unknown, and to finally admit to herself that being a cute girl among other cute girls is all she ever really wanted, despite trying to tell herself differently.
Her tearing up slightly in joy, she looks over at Amy, smiling warmly, and says "I'd like to take the pill...I'd like to be just like my new friends."
