Garath's Potion Madness!

[Kohaku]

Yumiko takes the two sprays, pocketing them, before breathing a sigh of exasperation, turning to face the two girls.

"Oh man, that's Clark isn't it? Excuse me..."

Yumiko quickly proceeded to shove the nurse in the cupboard, slam the door, then lock it. She then walks into the centre of the room, folding her arms across her chest.

"Sorry about this, miss. But the less people that know, the better... Right! Stop blubbering you wimps! I'm taking charge now! I'm going to cure you fools by hook or by crook!"

[Garath the Shadowshifter]

"Cure?" Sandra asked standing DIRECTLY behind Yumiko. Inside the cupbaord was, oddly enough, a large cardboard cutout of Sandra.

"That wasn't very nice you know," She said directly afterward, "I don't want to be locked in a cupboard! And what do you mean Clark? That's Claire. Isn't Clark a boys name? Claire isn't a boy!"

Sandra's glasses then seemed to flash as a thought occuried to her.

"Unless he fell into the spring of drowned girl! Oh! Oh! Is that what happened? Did she do that and then get pregnant! I alwasy KNEW you could! To think the people on the message boards said I was crazy! But now I have PROOF!"

She laughed slightly to herself before realizing her composer.

"Er Anyway, so what's going on? And don't try to lock me up again!" She said darkly to Yumiko.

[Mistress Guendolen]

The scolding from Yumiko temporarily jolted Rhiannon out of her frantic state. It was still simmering just under the surface, but right now.... "Wimps? Fools? We did nothing to deserve this! And you try being in our shoes right now and see how you like it!" she shot back. "I doubt you'd be taking it much better!" I don't want this I can't do this my life is ruined stay calm stay calm but oh God my life is ruined-

[Kohaku]

Yumiko was shocked to find the nurse directly behind her.

"What the heck!? Oh whatever. Anyway, look at me, Rhiannon, you think I enjoy being a catgirl? No, I don't. But am I freaking out? No. Because I know that it's foolish to just sit there and lament when I could be trying to sort it out. There're still some antidotes out there. I've already found some potions, they could be antidotes. We can sort this out if we work together. So dry those tears and come with us will you?"

She held out a hand to Rhiannon and Clark.

"There's still hope for you two yet."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Look, I know that being a catgirl must be lousy, but this is a heck of a lot more serious, I'll have you know! Will being a catgirl make you have to drop out of school? Because you'll have to quite the team and lose your scholarship? Or because you can't stay in the dorms because of what happened? Or- or- or make you put your entire life aside? Because that's what's happening to me! You can soldier on, but I've got a- another person growing inside me, according to that scan! One I did nothing to put there, and more importantly, that I don't want! Not right now, anyway! But- I still have to deal with that, and if we can even cure this or- or if I'm stuck with this for the rest of my life, through no fault of my own! I'd say this problem is at least a leetle bit more serious, in the long-term!"

[Kohaku]

"Exactly. Which is why you need to stop fretting and start helping to look for the antidotes! You're in this condition because of the potions. The potions can get you out of it."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"But I didn't drink another potion! And something tells me that the red one that got spilled on me didn't have a 'kid' side effect." Still, what other explanation was there? This certainly hadn't happened by the traditional method.

[Kohaku]

"Didn't Clark here mention drinking some potion, some flash of light, then touching you? Remember, the potions have affected you two simultaneously before haven't they?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Only when the one got spilled over both of us. Yeah, he was in my room and drank one- we'd found a white one, which is supposed to be the cure, so he decided to try it even though we both thought it had a funny vibe. I touched him afterwards, and then the light and... well... the other change.... I- I just don't understand this." She placed her hand over her stomach. "Why? It makes no sense. And- whose kid is it, anyway? Is it- Clark's? Is it whoever made these things? Does it even matter? All I know is that, awful as it sounds, I wish it wasn't there...." Rhiannon's head went down, feeling guilty over saying such a thing. She knew you were supposed to love and cherish a child you were carrying. But... she hadn't asked for this. Hadn't done anything to deserve it. So she couldn't help but feel resentful....

[Kris_Roth]

Kristine blinked at what the nurse had said..."What? Rhia and Claire are pregnant? How did that happen?" She looks over at Yumiko and then at Ruth. "Oh, Yumiko, this is my sister Ruth. She's going to school here and uhm, we are twins. Everyone, meet my sister Ruth. Ruth, that's Claire, Rhiannon, my roomate Yumiko, and Stephanie."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"How did that happen? That's... what I'd love to know.... Rhiannon managed to say."

OOC: Sorry, guys, but I'll be disappearing for a few days. I'm going to Origins Games Convention in Ohio, and I leave tomorrow. I'll be back sometime Sunday night. I hope I don't hold up the works for anyone while I'm gone. If so, sorry.

Ryan/Ruth shyly waved at the anxious girls and their friends. "It's nice to meet you. I realize this is awkward timing, but I think I drank one of those potions you guys are talking about. If you could, I'd like to know what's happened to me."

"Wait you mean people here drank some sort of magical potions that turned them into other things?" Sandra said giving everyone a blank stare.

Ryan/Ruth thought frantically. "Um, no? It's, um, slang for a drug. Yeah, someone must have slipped something into their juice last night!" I am a horrible liar, she thought. "So it's no biggie, I'm sure it's out of their systems, no harm done. Seriously, people transforming into other things! It's ridiculous and certainly not happening here," she said looking at Yumiko. "Right, um, friend?" She placed a hand on Yumiko's shoulder and tried to act non-chalant.

Ryan's skin rippled and very quickly there were two Yumikos in the room. Ryan/Yumiko looked down at herself. "Smooth Ryan, smooth," she grimaced to herself.

Kristine watched as ruth changed into Yumiko..."Ok, what just happened....first, you changed into my double, then into Yumiko's double by touching us. What kind of creature copies DNA by touching their target?"
