Hm. Not overly fond of Twinkies either, come to that.... But at least I won't be in any danger of eating my money by accident.

Yes. Money no one is tempted to eat, lasts forever, and can also be used as lining for bomb shelters. I am genius incarnate, for I am the Grand Leavened Emporer. *He's apparently just talking to himself. Oh yeah, and the cape's still doing the wavey thing.*

Hm. I think he barely notices the audience.... **sneaks away a bit, just to see if he'll keep talking**

Manpuncher shrugs and sneaks away with Guendolen whilst whispering to her. Are things always this odd here? Sure, the temporary cat features and pretty girls like you I can deal with but sentient bread that declares itself an emperor? I'm beginning to wonder if I've been drugged.

[Mistress Guendolen]

**shakes head. blushing just a bit at being called pretty** No, this is... really fairly typical. Okay, so the talking loaf of bread with notions of leadership grandeur is unprecedented, yes. But there is a precedent for weirdness in general.... Really, all sorts of weird things happen in these parts. You're not drugged. Best bet is to just go with the flow and do what comes naturally. Okay?

Manpuncher nods and gives Guendolen a hug whilst blushing a little himself. This may sound cheesy but this seems like something natural to do, you only live once after all and it's not everyday you get to hug a cat person whilst being a cat person yourself. He twitches his ears and tail a little as if he was confirming his current status.

[Mistress Guendolen]

**hugs back, blushing a bit more but smiling too** You're right. You don't get to do that very often.... And even though you don't plan to stick with your new features, well, I like how they look on you....

Hm, can't say they're bad but I'll be glad once my trial period is over. Having enhanced hearing and smell is sometimes not a good thing. Still, they seem to suit you better than me but, I doubt you want to keep them for life either. At least in the mean time I can do this. Manpuncher chuckles and scratches behind Guendolen's ears with a grin on his face.

**eyes close in a catlike squinty-happy smiling expression, and a little purr emerges** Yeah.... I do like that.... I'm still not sure if I want to stick with these for good, but you doing that kinda makes me wonder if it'd be so bad....

Manpuncher chcukles again as he pets Guendolen. Well, I'm pretty sure I could make you feel good, cat features or not. End of the day, it's up to you, I'm not going to force anything on you.
He sighs as his expression suddenly looks a little less confidant than before, his ears and tail drooping a little. Say, uh... You have a place to live in, right?

[Mistress Guendolen]

**blushes a bit** Yes, I- I imagine you could.... And yes, I do have a place. Why, you need somewhere to stay until you get settled around here?

Manpuncher seems to make a surprised, choking sound at the bluntness of Guendolen's answer. He seems to remain silent for a moment or so, blushing frantically before finally responding. R-r-really? You'd let me stay in your house? I uh... Don't have any money though so I doubt I could pay any rent.

[Mistress Guendolen]

**shrug** I- it's okay. I'll find some way for you to earn your keep. You can help out with cooking and chores and what not. Besides, it's only until you get your feet under you and find a way to get your own place, right? **blushes a bit more, but smiles up at him**

Manpuncher rubs the back of his head as he idly swings his tail. Well, I may not look it but I know something about cooking that is beyond sticking a tray of processed stuff into a microwave so yeah, I could do that. He chuckles a little as he smiles back down at Guendolen.

That's great. Then I think you can be a useful roomie. **is temporarily distracted by his swinging tail, then shakes self back on track** Now, I only have one room in my apartment, so I'm afraid you'll have to sleep on the couch. It's got a fold-out bed, though, so you won't have to scrunch up or anything.
