The way I see it, finding your purpose in life is happiness.

That purpose could be anything too, it could be family etc. etc.

Since I don't believe people have a single (or really any) "purpose" in life, I vote the second. Even if it's not correct for everyone.

This poll lacks options, I say!

I don't think either of those are really important, when you get right down to it. With the way that things work, most people don't have a choice in what they'll perceive as important; so, what's important about that? Sure, I'd like to do something with my life, and I also wouldn't mind having some friends and family, but I'd rather like to know that I can think and reason for myself. It just seems more "rewarding" to me, on a bigger scale.

Since I believe all things that occur in life are the whim of fate, and therfore everyone serves the purpose they were intended to no matter what, I voted for the second option.
