So, it's finally here, after years of "Maybes" and then multiple insane delays. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 is finally out on US shelves.

I picked my copy up yesterday, and I've played some of it, but I'm nowhere near deep into the game yet. But, I was wondering if anybody else either got the game, is looking into getting it, or has any opinions on it?

I'm liking it a lot so far, wondering what other people were thinking on it.

i really like it, at first i was worried the whole way each day worked would be too much, but now it seems easy. Although it seems like theres just SOOO much to do that you wont have time for it all, good thing it has save game+

Got the game today, part of why I haven't been on most of the day, loving it so far. I like most of what I've seen, particularly been amusing myself listening to the little snippets of lectures that actually carry through. Yeah, I know I'm a nerd, I can't help but try and learn any little thing I can.

My copy just came in the mail this morning. It's too bad my PS2 is in my apartment in Tallahassee, so it will be a few more days till I can even play it T_T

I hear it's awesome though. The artbook and OST are pretty spiffy so far.

I didnt make academic 3 in time for the mid terms ;_;

hmm sold at the near by gamestop... but they only got 3 copies.... though the fact that there was a power flicker while i was there that caused their xbox 360 melt down made the trip worth it.

I loved Persona 1 and 2. But, one thing missing that I'm gonna miss, is talking to the demons. I've always been fans of this series.

Heh, i was only 2 for the midterms, 4 for finals though. Already maxed out bravery and almost charm though.

Ugh.. that second block is a killer on my characters. Can't even go up 5 or so levels to the next teleport point so I don't have to redo them all before I keep getting killed and not enough experiance in block 1 to stay there. Oh well, the difficulty of these games is part of what makes them fun. As for the charm and so on, mine are so low its not funny, though I apparently did well enough on the midterms.

The second block killed me so many friggen times. Of course during this Yukari kept staying behind. I love how one time she's with me, and I die having to restart a few days ago to get back to where I was, only to find out Yukari is suddenly sick for some reason.

I didn't DO anything differently >_<

Now that Akihiko is in my party at last, I'm cleaning up.

I've yet to run into the Reaper monster too.

I never ran into the reaper, but it IS possible to kill him, and its one of the quests. But as for Yukari, KEEP HER IN YOUR PARTY until after the next full moon. For the next full moon she will be a required character and you don't want her slacking off.

It's not by choice that Yukari stays behind.
