Darin bit his tongue at the grade. He glanced to the picture then back to Ami, "W-...What did I do wrong?..." his voice was frantic. He scanned the picture. There wasn't anything wrong with it to his eyes. It was worth an A...not an A-.

"Oh here Ami-Chan take a look at my picture of you. I think it shows you off perfectly what do you think?"

*Shows the picture to Ami. It is the perfect likeness of her. Minako herself couldn't believe she did so well, then again they were best friends in Juban along with the other Senshi.*

Darin shook his head a little as he looked back to the drawing. He had made sure to erase the construction lines and rough pencilings. "B-...but there aren't any shapes I didn't erase Ms. Ami..." he was still trying to justify the art. He felt he couldn't afford an A-.

Darin scoffed but dropped the issue, "But it deserved an A..." he mumbled under his breath. He didn't really care much about the class average. He was planning on becoming one of the best artists, and that meant he couldn't accept sub-standard grades. He switched back to his picture of Karin and started adding more detail. The damage was done, he had an A-, and now he needed something to take his stress out on.

Darin was starting to get a little annoyed. Sure it practiced his skills but he wanted to learn something new. He brought up a new file and started drawing it free-hand. If she didn't like the 'rough shapes' she saw, he wouldn't use them this time. The downside, though, is that he might lose pespective of proportion. His stylus moved quickly across the screen as he drew the teacher in her other pose. He finished faster this time and dropped the pen after a few minutes. It looked the same as the last picture...if a little abstract around the legs. "Dang..."

Darin sighed. That picture wasn't even graded...he hated busy work. He shrugged it off and brought up a new file and started drawing a new sketch, waiting for the next class. This time he was drawing what he thought he might look like in his new neko form.
