MSF Forum? or IRC? which do you like best

Forums. I can do a lot more, the pace is more manageable, stuff's separated a lot better than can be done in real-time (mostly because people can only do so much at the same time without missing anything), information sticks around longer and is more easier to store and make a reference to things that occur there, it's easier on the eyes, I can always come by and see what has happened and still participate if I wasn't there before, and, well... I think that pretty much says it, anyway. <.<;

I tend to grativate here more. You go on IRC and everything is so fast and constantly moving. I've had fun there, but you look away for five minutes and you miss a ton of stuff! Given my time constraints, this area is more manageable.

You are aware that asking this on the forums is rather unfair? It will be mostly seen by people who obviously prefer the forums, due to the fact that they are ON the forums.

Giving the IRC room little to no representation. But, eh.

I prefer IRC simply because instant communication > waiting for people to be active on a forum. and people who complain about it moving too fast CLEARLY aren't actually in the room. <_<

I don't think that anyone's saying that IRC is bad in some way, that have used it. It just depends on tastes and what works best for them. For instance, someone who doesn't have a lot of time for socializing might prefer the forums because any activity that happens won't be missed when they next check in. Though someone may still prefer IRC in that case, perhaps because they can interact more to try and make up for the lack of time.

For me, even if I wanted to be anywhere for a while, I'm easily distracted and otherwise have a hard time being consistent. The longer that I keep doing the same thing the more tedious and/or boring it gets, too. So I prefer to switch between things and save IRC for when nothing else is on my mind since it's much easier for me to do other things while browsing and checking the forums than keeping track of what's going on in IRC.

Actually, I'm surprised that anyone likes IRC, what with me being there from time to time. ;p I guess that would include the forums even more so... Are ye all mad!?

Forums, because I find them less troublesome.

Just a note though: Since this poll is on the forum, it only makes sense that the majority of the vote is in favor of the forum.
