"A little personal?" Her ears twitched. "Well, that's intriguing. Tell you what- you ask, and then I'll say whether or not I feel comfortable responding. Sound fair?"

Manpuncher nods and grabs his tail, fiddling with it as he asks. Do you have any family? I know we just met and all but I was just curious, seeing your apartment made me wonder if you were well... Lonely. He looks up at Guen, looking a little sad.

[Mistress Guendolen]

She smiled gently. "I do have a family, yes, parents and an older brother who I'm quite close to. I just chose to live on my own. I wanted independence. Living with your parents as an adult can be a trifle smothering, you know." She swallowed a little, looking up at him a trifle nervously. "But... family closeness is only one kind, after all...."

"Millie-Neechan aren't you going to get up here with me?"

*Continues to scope out hot guys swimming in the pool from her tree.*

Manpuncher sighs with relief, siomething made more visible by his ears and tail drooping. Ah, thank god. I thought you might have been one to have had your family taken away from you in some overly dramatic way and yes, living with youer parents is a pain in the arse. He laughs a little until the micerowave, loudly beeps, his ears and tail perking up in surprise. Oh! There we go.

[Mistress Guendolen]

His concern made her smile. It was... it was sweet. One of the sweetest things she'd experienced in a while, actually. "No, no drama in my life. It's been quite prosaic, as a whole. Well, a lot of my extended family is screwed up and crazy and I don't even want to talk about them, let alone see them, but the core is good, which is what matters." She watched him for a moment, head tipped to one side. "But thanks... so much. The fact that you were so worried about that... it means a lot. Especially since we haven't, you know, known each other all that long, really.... Even if it does feel like longer, doesn't it? In a good way, I mean!" she hastily added, tail swishing rapidly. I don't want him to think I regret meeting him! Total opposite!

*Ashley is still scoping out the hotties in the Swimming Pool wondering if her new big sister will join her.*

Manpuncher nodded as he took the now warm broccoli out of the microwave and onto a chopping board, pulling out a suitable knife and chopping away, tail swishing away merrily. Really? "It's not nosy. It's natural, given circumstances." Her elbows rested on the edge of the counter, unwittingly swishing he tail in time with his. "And I'd love to hear more about you. However much you want to tell me."

Millie was to busy blushing next to the tree to hear Ashley. There were just so many hot guys, and her feelings for them felt so new that she had just frozen in place. "I, uh, think I'll stay here, um, yeah."

*Ashley is still up in the tree scoping out the Hotties. She yells down to Millie.*

"No problem Millie-Neechan. I just thought you would want to climb up here that's all."

Sighing, Manpuncher took the chopped vegetable and placed it into the empty casing, spreading it out as evenly as he could.
Well, I guess I could start by telling you my real name. With a satisfied look, he nods at his WIP quiche and smiles at Guen.

I'm Jack, a pleasure to meet you miss Guen. With a sudden bizarre display of charm, he delicately takes her hand and kisses the back of it like she was a noble woman of royalty. Jack wondered what she would think of this but what the hell, nothing wrong with having a little fun, right?

Her eyes got really big, and a blush suffused her features. But at the same time, a little squeal of delight escaped, as a matching smile crossed her features. "I feel like I should curtsey!" And so she did, a ladylike bending of the knees. "Very pleased to meet you indeed, Sir Jack!" A laugh emerged, almost a giggle, and the smile got wider. He's so- so sweet!
