"I'm not... upset, just... very focused. Yes. This is a very tiring job, you know.... Now, please stand still while I run the scan?" she hurriedly added, quickly changing the subject. Again, a slow, careful scan. No mistakes this time, hopefully.... The scanner beeped, and the light in the end flashed red. "All right, we have our second Warrior for the day." Please don't whine and demand it's not accurate, I really don't need that right now....

[Sam]

"Arina? All right, I guess we could do that. Please of stand with R-Rose over there under the red sign... Arina?" A successful scan and no complaining. What a relief....

*Arthur walks over to the R-rose section and sighs with relief

[Mistress Guendolen]

All right, at least one had been uneventful.... Jeanette cleared her throat, resetting the scanner. "Next, please?..." They were more than halfway through. Hopefully this would be over soon.

OOC: R-Rose isn't the name of the section, it was her stuttering a bit over the name Rose, who's already been scanned and is over there. Sorry if it wasn't clear about that.

[Azathoth]

Rachel walks up... and notices Jeanaette's nervousness... it was kind of obvious. "I think I am next... Are you allright, miss?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

"You're next? Good. Very good. Name, please? Of course I'm not upset. Why does everyone think I'm upset? Truly, I'm all right!" She took a few deep breaths, willing a smile to her face. It looked kind of glassy, but hopefully it would pass muster.

[Azathoth]

Rachel looks concerned. "You look like you have a stomach ache... Oh, my name is Rachel." The girl looked like she would rather be anywhere else than where she was right now... Rachel wondered why that could be...

[Mistress Guendolen]

"A Stomach ache? Perhaps a wee bit of one, now you mention it.... Maybe my lunch didn't, you know, sit right...." That was as good a reason as any. Am I really so transparent? Jeanette was going to have to practice this. Trouble was, MIT didn't have a class on dissembling and deception as part of the bioengineering curriculum.... "But anyway. The scan. Stand very still, please?" Another scan, another beep. This time the light turned purple. "Ah. Looks like you're a scientist, Rachel...."

[Azathoth]

"Neat! That sounds fun!" She smiles a bit. "I hope you feel better, miss."

[Mistress Guendolen]

Jeanette nodded a little. "I hope it settles, too.... I'm sure it will. It's really not a problem. Please go stand under the purple sign? And who's next?" Another happy sorting. Why didn't she feel any better, though? By all rights, she should. But she didn't. Well, she'd just have to fake it.

[Azathoth]

Rachel nods and begins heading towards the purple sign, before turning back again. "Umm... could you tell me your name?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

"My name?" That was fair, she supposed. And others had asked before this one, anyway. "It's Jeanette. Some people call me Jean for short...." She twisted the scanner a bit, again.

[Sasha]

"Allright, Jean... I hope to see you around sometime. I hope you feel better soon..." Jean looked like a scientist... maybe they could become friends... She gives Jean a smile, then goes to stand under the purple sign.
