There are two other red-headed characters from "Mai HiME," Nao and Midori. You might call Shiho (same series) one as well if you stretch it, though I personally think her hair is more of a dark pink.

My reasons are diabolical, not silly. ;p But, yes, knowing where the characters are from would help since what I have in mind would require knowing some significant stuff about them. To be honest, though, this idea has been in my head since the dawning of the new millennium, so there's no telling when or if I'll ever get around to doing it. <.<;;;;

Well, aside from the two from Fafner, I think you should be able to find info about all the ones I listed on Wikipedia just fine, so you're about set.

Well, I want to know where they're from in case of the possibility that I'm ever able to buy stuffs; I can glean better information and stuff that way. Unfortunately I know that I probably won't be able to get anything new, even just one graphic novel, for many months to come. I have enough for the caption contest, I'll somehow manage to come up with the art contest monies, and after that I'll be exhausted. So I'm hoping that I can achieve the making of an invention, perhaps make some money in other ways, and then I'll be able to nabify some of the stuff mentioned here.

Is Hazumu's hair red? It's the kind of color where I can't tell. X_X Though it looks more brown.

From the covers of the 3 manga volumes I have it's an orange-red, it's also orange-red in the anime.

Though i will admit on the covers of vol 2 and 3 there's a very soft light shining on the characters making her hair seem like a light orangish-brown =p
