A little, casual shrug. "I really didn't have any plans beyond this point. I'll most likely end up just going home. There was some art I was working on before I left, after all."

[Dani]

"Hmm..art you say. What ype of art style do you do?" *She seemed nice and she was cute..but he would wait and see*

[Mistress Guendolen]

"I mainly draw anime-manga style, really. Whatever catches my fancy at the moment, though I do have heavy fantasy leanings. I'm also into fashion design, as I first mentioned. I'm really into a Japanese style called Gothic Lolita. It's a sort of neo-Victorian thing influenced by the Visual Kei rock stars." Let's see if this weirds him out.... If it doesn't, I'll test the waters about martial arts and see the reaction there....

[Dani]

"Wow, thats really cool." *he smilesand puts his hand on her shoulder*

Thoughts: I Have no idea what that is but i should agree, and it doesn't sound bad at all....

[Mistress Guendolen]

"You think so? Really?" Her face brightened at the thought. The eyes flickered briefly down to the hand on her shoulder, but she elected not to do anything about it just now. "You mean you actually know what it is? Wow!"

"He he...of course I do" *he mutters a knowledge spell followed byt the word receiving the basic definition of the word* " Gothic Lolita or "GothLoli" has two definitions. The term "Gothic and Lolita" is used by the Japanese to describe a sub-culture of teenagers who wear a wide range of fashions. It is used by English language sources mainly to describe a specific subset of Lolita fashion."

*He coughed slightly. Every time he casted a knowledge spell he would blurt out some of the information*

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Yeah, that's right.... At least, at the most basic level." Funny, he sounded like he'd been reciting by rote, there. Almost like reading from an invisible book. Well, that was ridiculous. Right? People couldn't really do that stuff.... "But there are all sort of nuances. Different variants on the look and so forth. The wide range does indeed cover a lot of territory.... But I'm sure a guy really doesn't want to hear about this sort of thing," she added quickly. "After all, it involves frilly dresses, which make most of your number want to run screaming!" A little laugh.

[Dani]

*He laughs* "It only sends us screaming when we have to wear them."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Don't worry, I won't try to force you into one! I'm not one of those girls who gets giddy at seeing a cute guy in a dress.... Now, Gothic Aristocrat, that's another matter.... The guy version," she quickly added for clarification. "Think sort of like Gothic Vampire, only more gentlemanly, and not so much on the scarlet-lined capes and so forth. That might just work.... But don't worry, I'm not going to set out to make you over!"

[Dani]

"He he thats good" *scratches the back of his head nurvously* "So what do you want to do?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

"I... don't know. I just sort of wandered in here to check the place out, after all. Right now, I guess I just want to finish my drink." She'd been slowly nursing it. "Guess I'll go from there."

[Dani]

"Sounds good." *he continued to sip his drink as well*

[Mistress Guendolen]

She took another sip. "So, I told you a little bit about myself. How about you? What sort of things do you do with yourself?"

[Dani]

"Nothing really to do, when you've been around as long as I have. I mosty perfect my spells and combat skills..."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Spells?" Combat skills, okay. That was one thing. But magic?... "How much have you had to drink tonight, precisely?" she asked slowly. After all, people didn't really, you know, cast spells. Oh, okay, so there was Wiccan magic and so forth, but it wasn't like in fantasy or whatever....
