"I can safely say I've never once met a dragon, at least not outside a D&D session. Nor have I ever had any personal contact with a war. So you're two up on me, there...."

OOC: What do you mean? You've never heard the term "as a rule" before? Basically, it means a sort of over-arching "this is the way things typically are with me."

"Well thats good, personally, Dragons are snakes with legs and an anger problem while wars are nothing but violence and greed. Your lucky you havn't experianced any of that."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"I know. I'm heartily glad to have never experienced a war.... As for dragons, it seems as though the onces I've heard of in fiction tend to all be different, some good, some bad. I... guess it would be different, then...."

OOC: Hey, no problem. I've noticed I often use quirky turns of phrase that sometimes people just don't get.

[Dani]

"Um what else do you want to talk about?"

[Mistress Guendolen]

"I... I really don't know...." He didn't seem to want to talk about his supposed past, a notion she was infinitely curious about. But you couldn't push someone, now could you? "How long have you been, you know, around here?"

[Dani]

"Well lets see, I've been here for around 10 years or so..."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"That long? I'm surprised I've never seen you, in all this time. Disguising yourself, have you?" A playful little smile.

[Dani]

"Why yes, yes I have." *he winks*

[Mistress Guendolen]

The wink made her giggle. Wait- me- giggle? I never giggle! But there, it had happened. Weird.... "Oh, you have, have you? Maybe you've been spying on everyone and we never realized it...." A return wink of her own.

[Dani]

"But is their really anything worth spying on here?" *hmm I made her giggle, thats a good sign....* -he smiled at her wink-

[Mistress Guendolen]

"How would I know what someone like you would consider worthy of spying, though?" she responded archly. "Maybe you just found our everyday lives fascinating...."

[Dani]

"Well when you live for a thousand years you pretty much live almost every life style possible."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Uh... yeah, I... guess just one would get really boring after a while...." That aspect of this was still really weird, and she hadn't fully wrapped her mind around it yet. This sort of thing did take time.... But if he's done everything, why'd he go and try to pick me up when I first came in? I'm hardly exotic....

[Dani]

"The thing is, I've lived alot of life styles but I've never had any friends or a relationship to anyone..."

[Mistress Guendolen]

"You haven't? So you've been- you know- alone all this time?..." Now, that really was sad. Everyone needed a friend. "I- I could be your friend...." He might be slightly crazy, but he didn't seem to be a dangerous sort.
