[David]

Jack shook his head. N-no, my legs are fine. Say, do you have a shower? I have a feeling I'll need a cold one when I get back I mean, with all this hot weather and all I must smell pretty bad.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Of course I have a shower! With soap and towels and everything." A playful smile. "I haven't had any complaints with how you smell, but I do understand the urge to get cleaned up.... I feel icky if I don't have one every day, myself."

[David]

Hm, I can tell Jack sniffs at the air around them. I would make comment on something but the only people who say "You smell nice." turn out to be serial killers.

[Mistress Guendolen]

Well, she couldn't help but laugh outright at that. "Not necessarily. But I do appreciate the extra measure to prove to me you're not one! And seeing as you're staying with me, that's really good to know.... Now, shall we head home?" She extended her free hand with a smile.

[David]

Jack nods and takes grips the hand with his left, favouring his right to carry the clothing. He seems to look normal again after the little serial killer joke.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Feeling a bit more yourself now?" she asked, squeezing his hand a bit as they walked. "That's good. We should be home in a few minutes...."

[David]

Yeah, I must have had a mild case of heat stroke back there or something. Jack turns to Guen and smiles as they walk. Must be the cool air outside and your gentle touch that helped.

[Mistress Guendolen]

She colored up at that, ducking her head shyly. "I- I don't know about- about that, but- but I'm sure, you know, the cool air- yes-" He really knew how to make a girl feel- well, good wasn't quite the right word. She felt squirmy and warm and shy... but nothing negative. Definitely not negative, by any stretch of the imagination.... "But- but here we are!" She hurriedly dug into her bag to pull out the key to get into the building.

[David]

Oh so we are. That walk here didn't seem to take as long than going to that shop... Jack shrugs and watches as Guen fumbles for her keys.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Well, you know what they say- the journey home is always shorter than the journey there. At least, it's seemed that way in my experience.... Ah, here they are!" She pulled out the keys, unlocking the door and indicating for him to precede her into the building.

[David]

Jack walks in a with a smile and a complimentary thanks in Geun's direction as he stands at the stairs, waiting for her to lock the door before continuing.

[Mistress Guendolen]

She shut the building door behind her, then headed for the stairs. "Okay, think you know the way by now," she said, a hint of laughter in her voice. "We're apartment 19. I'm going to have to get you your own key...."

[David]

Jack nods as he walks up the stairs with Guen. Apartment 19, gotcha.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"Man, this staircase always feels so long...." Her voice had a breathless tinge, even as there was a hint of laughter to it. Being with him just made her want to giggle with joy.... "It feels like we'll never make it to the top, doesn't it?... But here we are. Home sweet home." The keys switched, to unlock the room door. "Well, hope sweet apartment, anyway."

[David]

It beats living in a box that's for sure. Jack shrugs as Guen unlocks the door. He doesn't seem to have been bothered at all by large amount of stairs they just climbed, odd but then again he doea look to be in above average shape.

Hey, maybe we should have a drink together? I think there is a bottle of vodka in my bag that I haven't touched yet.
