Jack pauses and stares down at the empty glass in his hand before nodding shyly.
Life is short so I might as well experience one good backrub while I can.

"Okay. How about you lie down on the couch, then? On your stomach. It'll be easier for me to, you know, reach...." He was pretty tall, after all.

Uh... Sure.
Jack puts the glass down on a nearby table and lays face down on a couch, squirming a little to get comfortable before finding a suitable position as he idly swings his tail in the air.
Down to you, I guess.

Just for a second, she had to suppress the urge to swat at and play with that waving tail.... It was, well, rather engaging. Taking another gulp of her drink to distract herself, she knelt alongside the couch. "Okay, just let me know if it's okay, or if you want to stop or anything...." Her hands started gently kneading his shoulders and neck, intended to gradually work all the way down.

Jack flinches a little as soon as Guen touches his back but seems to relax as the massage begins, purring audibly but otherwise remaining silent.

"I was about to ask if this is all right, but I'm guessing it is," she said lightly in response to his purring. It was so sweet.... Her own tail waved back and forth, in unthinking harmony with his. Her hands shifted down a little, to shoulder blade level.

Jack purrs softly as he arches his back a little, flicking his ears and tail but still remaingly blissfully silent. Guen just seems to be that good at back rubs.

She just chuckled a little, continuing to gently massage and gradually work further down his back. He seemed to be enjoying it enough to not feel inclined to talk. So not going to force that.... Enjoying how happy he seemed was good enough.

Jack seems to be purring forever, squirming a in response to Guen's touch rather like when petting a cat, they just don't stay still at all.

"Wow, I guess you really do like this." At least, if the purring was any indicator.... He seemed to get more catlike all the time. Luckily for Jack, she found this very appealing. And kept happily massaging down, enjoying how much he seemed to enjoy it.

Jack stops squirming and turns his head to look at Guen with a smile. Y'know, I think you'd make a great massager as a full time job.
He then relaxes again and purrs some more.

She smiled wider. "Really? My Mom used to tell me the same thing. But that'd mean I'd be massaging all kinds of people. Wouldn't you rather keep this all to yourself?..." A playful little laugh.
