[Mistress Guendolen]

"Now, didn't I tell you to stop apologizing? It's okay. I'm not offended or anything. Now c'mon and sit down again... please?" She lightly tugged on his arm. "I still want to cuddle with you, if it makes you feel any better...."

[David]

Jack seems to stare at the ground guiltily before he perks up a little to nod silently and then hugs Guen softly.

[Mistress Guendolen]

She cuddled him back, rubbing the back of his head a little, lightly. "All better now? To be honest, I was more startled than anything else. It wasn't- you know- bad or anything...." She blushed as she said that, burrowing her head against his shoulder a little.

[David]

Jack purrs quietly as they hug, his cheeks turning a rosy red as he remarks. Well... I did say you were softer in some places than others...
A nervous chuckle from the man as he hopes he hasn't overstepped the line.

[Mistress Guendolen]

She giggled, a hint of a shy edge to it. "Well, I... guess you proved that rather well, didn't you?..."

[David]

Jack couldn't help but blush at that comment as he shyly nods. Y-yeah... Guess I did.

[muffinstud]

Muffin plops out of the VCR very unceremoniously. "Congratulations, she has mammaries. Big surprise." He bounces up close to Jack. "Now tell her that her lips are softer and kiss her," he whispered. He bounces off into the kitchen. "Now if you don't mind, I have a date with your loaf of sourdough."

As he turns the corner, a muffled sound comes from the VCR.
"Grand-Leavened-Empor-OR!"

[Mistress Guendolen]

Guen blinked. Her expression was odd. Like she couldn't believe what she had just seen.... It was a complete and utter non sequiter. But then again, she'd believe just about anything of the talking loaf of kitty-bread right now.... Given the very nature of the thing's existence, if nothing else.

[David]

Jack also blinks but on the bright side, any apprehension he had was all but lost in the bizarre scene that just occurred. Welll... That makes my night.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"It does? What the sight of that made mine was decidedly stranger.... Especially as it emerged from the still VCR rather than the running dvd player.... Very... curious indeed...." She peered up at him. "We didn't just hallucinate that, did we?"

[David]

Jack shrugs. Probably not, he was responsible for the cat features we have after all unless we are having one huge shared, hallucination.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"That's what I thought.... Unless we just brought up a memory from earlier?... But then it wouldn't have been the same thing, would it?... That was very strange.... How did it know where I live...." One ear pivoted, listening for sounds of yeast-life in the kitchen.

[David]

Jack mimics Guen, his ear swivelling around like a radar dish to pick up any sound. I think he mentioned that all bread bins are connected to a network but uh... A VCR isn't a bread bin.

[Mistress Guendolen]

"I know. At least, not unless you live in an incredibly strange household.... And I can safely assure that VCR has not come in contact with any sort of baked grain products! So very strange indeed.... No sound. I keep my bread in the fridge. So either he's contemplating how to get in or has already done so, and we can't hear whatever mysterious conversation is happening...."

[David]

Jack's ear twitches before remaining still as he looks back at Guen. I guess you did mention that this place can be odd at times so I guess this is normal for here.

Jack yawns tiredly and blinks. Hmm, I wonder what time it is?
