Not sure you'd want to be going to that beach.

And I can't believe I missed that last line the first time! Oh, the bitter irony!

why wouldn't I want to go to that beach? It seemed like it was the car, or the radio station that caused the change, not the beach silly Ell person =)

Umm...yeah...you may not want to be going to that particular beach yourself...although I hope it's not far off what happens at that point in "life".

Think "Jacob's Ladder"...or a zappy angel of death. Regarding author's notes, Tien is Vietnamese for - "Angel, fairy, and spirit". It's meant to be ambiguous if she's really "helping" 'Aminda', whose name is actually Esperanto. Kinda reincarnation-like, ambiguous-type themes. But yeah, if you think of it like an anime-inspired "Jacob's Ladder" then that'd be closest to what I intended.

As for I Am Legend...probably. I've read it but it wasn't consciously in my mind when I was writing that. There's a particular RP I'd done called "Last Man Standing" and it kinda derived from that. Ovalisks are involved.

Here's a preview of tonight's caption. I'm calling it...

"For Tree's a Jolly Good Fellow"

It's...different.

Oh, I've heard of "Las Man Standing"! It's a Call of Cthulu LARP! I know people who played it, at the Origins games convention in Columbus, OH. You haven't by any chance attended that, have you?...

I thought it was a nice little caption. I too wondered what the black text really was. As for the LARP, Myself had never heard of it.

Not much into LARP, sorry. Just the online sort ^^

As for tonight's caption...meh X_X I'm not happy with it. I was hoping the color would turn out better...that I would find a nifty border...that the free-verse poem would flow better (I only like parts of it). But it turned out better than I initially-hoped-for so that's something I guess

I thought the color was good on your caption. Never knew about a TG tree.

I thought that was good! Like a free-verse poem. Very artistic and effective, I thought.

There's something almost... impish, about that wind. Something that means well but doesn't necessarily do well. Very nice.

I probably got the wrong idea when I read it, but it seemed like it confused the boys' desire to have girls mixed up with the desire to become girls.

My alibi: I was tired at the time, my memory's bad, and I didn't read it again just now because my sister is urging me to load the dish washer. Yup.

I'd say that's well within reason, given the way it's worded.
