And now, the moment none of you have been waiting for! I finally have some Gothic Lolita clothes- took me long enough, I know- and a shot or two of me wearing them. Taken during a Christmas meet-up for my local group I've found. :) Here they are! The first one was taken in a place called the "Winter Garden," which is an open space done up with decorations, a giant tree with a train and all surrounded by entrants in a big gingerbread house contest (roped off, so no one can get at the goodies) and a display of figures of representations of different country's views of Santa. Here I am with the Irish one.

I know you can only see the upper half of my dress here, so here I am with another member of that group, so you can see the whole thing:

She's much cuter, I know, but what can I do? The dress is pretty, at least....

Gwen! You... You... You grew a beard! @_@ *Scrolls down a bit* Oh, there you are. ;p So that's Irish, is it? I guess that's not peasant garb? Not that I know much about clothing versus era versus region.

It is unfortunate that, in the second image, it appears as if you've taken a blow from the camera flash. I can see what you were after but the angle wasn't good, and the glare from the flash on your glasses doesn't help.

Wait, hold up... I thought that was just a ribbon in your hair, but it seems that the white part is covering up something small. It looks like a miniature hat. Is that what it is? O.o

Nope, that's definitely not peasant garb. That's supposed to be a high-class young lady. :) If you need more details, I can provide.... And yes, that is indeed a tiny top hat I'm wearing! It's attached to a headband, and has a big white rose on it. That's what you thought was the "white flash." That hat was my first real step down this slope, as I got it from a vendor at Otakon this past summer. First Lolita piece I got. Couldn't resist.... Everything else just sort of followed. But if you need me to clarify anything at all, just say so!

You ladies and your high-class. ;p My sister did the same thing for that festival... I told her, "if you want to look authentic then wear what the vast majority of people normally wore." So I can't say that I really saw anything Irish about it when I first looked at it; I thought more about a stereotypical Danish barmaid or something, to be honest. XD

I feel sorry for that little hat, though. I mean, I barely noticed it because the size of the rose was so big.

Other than that there aren't any questions coming to mind... Oh! Except for this: will you ever try ancient Grecian garb? :O Just need a chiton, himation, sandals, perhaps some kind of hair ornament, and you're good to go. ^_^

Oh, the outfit's not supposed to be Irish! I just picked to pose with the Irish Santa because I liked him. :) And a lot of Lolita top hats are tiny. It's sort of an indicative feature of the style. Don't ever see myself trying ancient Greek garb, no. I hate having my arms exposed because to my mind, my biceps are ugly; besides, I'd be worried it would come undone and fall off!

Eh... found this from A-kon of last year, though the quality is atrocious (my camera's flash on the red carpet made almost everything red/black D:)..., and my hairs all frizzy from being wet... and I'm not smiling... well it's just an all around bad picture ^^;. If you can't tell (which is more likely than not) that's me cosplaying as Kyon from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi.

ZOMG! The cake is not a lie! It's just very grody, and you can't share it with your companion cube...

Nifty pic by the way. I love the tie =)

And now to add my part...I shall place an image of me from a while back and wearing a leather jacket for some reason that I got one of my friends to dig out of her hard-drive...God knows why she had it when I didn't

Nice jacket! Very sharp. You kind of remind me of a 50's greaser guy, but without the slicked hair. :)

Something has happened that has never happened before x.x I took a picture of myself and actually liked it! The best part for all of you, is that i'm smiling for once. And usually it's my smile that makes me hate my pictures, but i was more smirking and I guess on camera it looked like a cute smile x_x uhh so the large version of my avatar is right here.

Tina:

You know, you could be a model, I think. Or at least you seem photogenic to me.

Stellar:

Looks more like a grin! Your smirk failed! :O Of course, I have this crazy idea about smiles improve the kind of image you want to deliver. I think you look more feminine with a smile than without one.

You do? I didn't think it was that good.....Nowadays I don't have the crap moustache and my hair is a bit longer (I'm still growing it)

Nice pic Stellar. If I didn't know better I would think you were a girl natuarally (I'm not fibbing here but you look more feminine than many of the girls at my school...whether that says stuff about you or hornsea I don't know....)

Can someone tell me how to take pichers or record video with my web cam? I'd be happy to post what I look like if I could figure it out.

It's me Christina, or Terra if you are conservative about names i guess. In any case i finally have an updated picture of myself, something sorely needed given the changes my look has gone through over the last couple of years. So without further talk, except for warning you about odd colors and low resolution, i present to you: Me.
