Maruka nods..."Ah, Mariko, you have customers now. Kenji wants you to take his cup of empty tea to be cleaned, and Nikki wants another hot cholocate with green mint flavor. Anyone else need anything while I have Mariko serve you some tea cakes?"

"I don't know how to make the teas" Mariko said as she took the cup back

*begins moving the couches and tables around the house, and with lightning fast speed, changes the small house into:

first floor: dance floor + cafe

second floor: my living space

and at the front of the house attaches a sign that reads "Kate's Kafe"*

*Nikki eats a couple Tea Cakes while she is waiting for another Mint Hot Chocolate.*

OOC: Lian did you do a time skip to the next day already? I didn't see it.

Maruka glares out her window as she makes Nikki a new cup of hot chocolate mint tea. "It appears we have some competition. Someone new just opened another shop." She then directs Mariko to serve Nikki her hot chocolate. "I'll make the drinks, you serve the snacks and drinks."

[Nikki]

"Okay Boss-chan" Mariko says as she takes Nikki her drink "Do you want me to wear my hair like yours?"

"That place so doesn't look as nice as this place does, but yes it is competition. It may even be competition for me since the Shrine that I run also has living quarters on each of it's three Floors. I am also quite the cook too. Don't worry Maruka-Chan, I won't serve any tea if I do decide to add a restaurant. Though adding a restaurant to a shrine probably wouldn't Makie Kasai-Chan very happy. By the way thank you so much Mariko-Chan." Nikki said as she sipped at her tea.

Maruka nods..."Competition is fine, unless it getsout of control." She looks to Mariko..."No, you are fine the way you are, Mariko. I would like some ideas on how much to charge for the teas and tea cakes we serve here at the Tea Pagoda."

"I don't know" Mariko said "You're not paying rent so it all depends on how much money you want to make"

Maruka nods..."Nikki, what do you think? I need to make some profit here to afford to keep Mariko on staff. I think she has the potential to be one of my best staff...I take that back, she's my only staff member thus far..."

"Like you know what, I guess I could help you out sometimes, but not very often. I like have my Shrine duties to take care of. I can help you out sometimes. Maybe you should try advertising. It worked on me when I got these games for my DS." Nikki says as she pulls out the cases for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

"Advertising always helps. The more you advertise the more people will come." Nikki says as she continues to sip at her tea after putting the Diamond and Pearl Game Cases away.

*sigh* well, i got things put together and i put out my sign, but no one has come yet... V.V

"I think we should actually check the place out." Mariko said "Maybe they're not even directly competing with us"
