Greetings, denizens of MSF. I'll attempt to introduce myself, though I may fail miserably, just to give you a heads up.

Alright, so...to begin. I've lurked 'round these here parts for a long time. Like, years being the proper temporal unit of measure for it. 2...3? Something like that. In any case, I have a fairly bad tendency to be reluctant to join communities or get involved. Why? I dunno, probably just 'cause I'm shy. In any case, I do feel a bit out of my depth now, because it's one thing to lurk, it's quite another to get involved. The other day I was poking around, and decided to finally put myself out here and register, so I hope to get involved rather than, well, continue to poke around, so I'm currently steeling myself against going back into lurk-er mode. I'm glad to find myself actually posting an introductory thread! Nice to meet you all.

Greetings, lurkerling!

I see that you come in peace. Just don't get overwhelmed and fall to pieces!

Oh, and sorry for not accepting your registration yesterday. I'm still not quite used to this new version of the forums and I'm not yet on the ball so I can get to that within a few hours.

So, why "Travesty?" Is that supposed to reflect your deciding to join? ;p

Ah, it's no problem. And the name comes from a long line of using random words as names, mostly because I have absolutely zero useful imaginative abilities when it comes to naming things. That, and I read a novel where a character used Trivial as an alias, and I enjoyed the naming convention. So no real thought went into it a tall o.x

Thanks for the welcome. And as for what I want to get in on, well, I definitely intend to get in on some of the RPs, eventually. I expect to hang out around the Video Game section of the Entertainment Lounge quite a bit as well. I do hope to post up a story I've been working on as well, at some point in the far-flung future. Those are the main things, though I definitely don't plan to miss out on anything if I can help it, now that I finally joined up, haha.

Aw, I'm glad you finally got yourself girded enough to join in. I see where doing so can be overwhelming; it's a big and busy place, after all. Just don't let any feeling of floundering or being new get to you, okay? People really are approachable, and will typically answer any questions you may have and generally lend a helping hand. I hope we can assist you in beating the lurker demons, and stay here to be active and happy. :)

Thanks for the welcome, Guendolen. I appreciate it. And yes, whilst lurking I have noticed that MSF as a whole is really good when it comes to welcoming people into the fold, and that's a very large part of the reason why I actually did finally register, haha. So thanks again.

Hey, uh... person new to the forums? How're you? Good, I hope. Welcomes and such. I'm not very good at introductions either, so don't sweat it. by the way, there's a few things to watch out for:

1. Tomapples. You'll find out.
2. BD/Black Dragon/Snow Dragon. He LOVES praying on the new people.
3. Himitsu. (You shouldn't run into him, he's never on, but just in case)

That's all I can think of. Hopefully, I see you out there.

You're more than welcome. I do hope you're feeling more settled and comfortable around her, now, with all the welcomes. :) If you need a hand settling in with anything, just ask!

Thanks to everyone who's posted while I've lacked access to my computer, haha. And if there's one benefit to lurking before joining, it's that several common dangers are known to me before they become an issue. Like tomapples, for example. So thanks but no thanks on the fruit, Keaton :P
