As of late a lot of things have been deepening into a thick dark, tightly coiled pile of shit. i just lost a friend because of some rally against Scientology, i wouldn't have cared if he start a conversation and then explain a bit before randomly hitting me up with some links and saying tons of people died.

we fought, i assume he blocked me, so i blocked him, like that'd matter, but i looked at the links, now iI'm slightly freaked out not to mention still royally pissed off, i would have been fine and dandy if he would have just kept his mouth shut. i mean if you wanna fight for a couse, don't rush right out,and ager em within one IM ease into it and you'll get some supporters! i mean for christ sake, if people are dieing in a hotel of mysterious causes, you want to have people WITH you not pissed off at you for being rude.

then theres my rp here, which didn't help checking in just after this bout. i believe when i joined the description was, and don't get me wrong i may have bad memory, but "a less organized role plays with lots of freedom" from as far as i can remember, i haven't taken time to read the description to see if it changed, but there is no reason why i should hold 99% of the happenings in a free-role play rpg. i don't want that kind of crap, mainly because i don't get online as often, meaning if i miss a day people'll get pissed off because they couldn't do anything!

i apologize if i had offended anyone, if you wanna discuss deeper whatever the hell the point of Scientology is go ahead i just needed to vent, and i apreciate it if you took the time to read -w- *bow*

I can empathize with the Scientology thing. Its been making the rounds in one of the circles I travel online.

"Ok, I get it, you're worked up about this cult. Take a chill pill already."

Its like I tell my friends. "There are a lot of worthy causes that need champions. I stick up for a few myself. If you want to do something about The Environment/Scientology/Whatever then go do it. Don't preach at me; I'm not getting involved. I work at my own causes and goals."

I don't know what to tell ya about your RP though. That sucks :(
"Just because you're a brain dead ditzy cutesy violet girl, and generally non-dangerous, doesn't mean you can't be effective."

"Resistance is futi....fut....futi....umm....what's the word? Nevermind! Just eat the Tomapple!"

I can sum it up in a few words: humans have a propensity for being silly, stupid and irrational. It's no wonder why we drive each other mad, or the other kind of mad, and kill each other. It's more than evident in how religions (or cults), based on fiction, is made to be believed as non-fiction. They're no different from my claim that all life sprung forth from a mystical release of poo gas, where the origins of itself is unknown. Doesn't matter if it was a big bang, a single god, or a plethora of deities; it's all the same in the end.

Hey, whatever fills in that void that we're all brought into existence with. The feeling that there's no point in living unless we use our imagination to dream something up to pass the time.

You might be able to imagine my frame of mind right now. ;/

As for the RP... That's one of several reasons why I rarely try to get involved with that stuff anymore. If there's not one problem then there's another, consequently spoiling the experience. Just a case of being bitten too many times.

I'm not offended by anything, and thanks for sharing it.

I know two Scientologists and both are good people. The Church itself does a few things that are scary but so do several other religions. In the end it's about what everyone individually wants to identify with.

Quite frankly, I have nothing to say about Scientology. The whole concept is stupid, the idea that people would pay huge amounts of money to be given a science fiction rundown on the creation of the world baffles me, the reports of what they've been doing sicken me, and IMO they are one of the most idiotic cults I've ever seen in my life. The levels to which they stoop to get rid of people who don't agree with them... Other religions have histories like this, but these guys act as if they have to enact the Crusades 24/7 until they rule the world...

In short, Scientology sucks. And there's a good reason programmers on the 'Net are getting pissed at them; they're pushing copyright as if that protects them from everything they've ever done, which gets to coders for two main reasons; 1) coders don't like copyright to begin with and 2) the coders on the Internet tend to get real pissed when they're told they can do something that technically, they can. Not to mention it's not the first time Scientology has butted heads with the Internet coders...

You're surprised that people will pay huge sums of money in return for someone important telling them that its all going to be alright?

Why pay for something you can get for free? Do people really think adding in the allmighty dollar will increase the likelihood of things actually turning out better?

people still believe that money makes you happy, when you have friends, family, and good values, you have no need to be rich.

People have been tossing money at religions for peace of mind since the beginning of recorded history. And, whichever religion is correct, if any, would make every other one a work of fiction as well. Scientology just has a payment scheme that better suits their self interest.

this is why i declare that i am of no religion

but i really don't care if you like this god, or if you worship satan thats your ambition and thats good enough to float your boat then good.

im originally Christian, and my great grandfather was a minister at one point in his life, and everyone except me and my older brother are devote Christians. we don't really announce that we don't like religion, mainly because.. our parents are Christian, and well yeah they don't like it when they're own kids don't believe what they do, religion wise.

anyways. i don't like religion, because all of them allways wrap up in some end of the world prophecy (which i will note that even though 99.9% of my family devotes itself to christianity, they don't follow the constant new dates of D-day coming, mainly because they believe that we will not know the date of armageddon, from what they say the bible says) and any time something remotely similar happens, world panic! freakouts! looting! random tire blow-outs!

it just gets so damn annoying at times, i believe in one thing, and thats the future, no one can tell what it will be in the far off, they may come close, but never completly. the future comes one day at a time, you live your life to any extent you want, then you pass your knowledge and legacy to your childeren, and they follow and do the same thing over and over, unless something really does happen, in which case i immediately will believe whichever religion had it prophecized (thats if the things that wouldn't happen happened, IE: satan rising from the ground and smiting all of man kind.).
