Legend of Zelda: Congregation of Shadows (the RP)

[Sasha]

Mabala blinks. " Its me Mabala and these are some women i saved that those men where keeping as slaves sister." she says thinking up a fast lie.

Asylintha nods. " SHe lead us hear to keep us safe and the room fell in on us."

"Yeah that's right." Alana said knowing in her mind who she is and who she used to be as she nodded in agreement.

[Shadowmaster]

Lyon walked down the path and stopped when he saw someone in the distance. "My counterpart, I presume?" he asked.

The figure nodded.

"Well, I guess we're supposed to...combine power or something." he added. As the figure approached him, he saw that it was female. "Great, this should be interesting." he said. The girl held out her hands, and a light shimmered as she gave her power to Lyon. Lyon's hair grew longer and turned white. His face became more feminine as his body did the same. (Lyon now looks like this:Pic, but with hylian ears and red eyes.) After the transformation, Lyon looked at the girl. She handed him a sword. (The one in the pic.) Lyon took it and the girl faded away. Lyon continued to walk, and soon saw the others. She walked up behind them and looked around the now ruined room.

[Gee-chan]

The girl looked at the group and lower her weapon.

"Mabala?" she asked, "You're alive?"

She took a step forwards.

"After the disaster you were no-where to be seen." she said, tears in her eyes, "We thought you had died with the others. I'm so glad your ali....." she stopped mid-word as Lyon appeared in the ruins. Instinctively she raised her sword again.

"Where did you come from?" she demanded.

Seconds later Naarsa emerged from the stone, shortly followed by Landara. The poor Gerudo stepped back, her eyes filled with fear and her weapon trembling. Last out was Garath, who being the tallest of the group, saw the sword pointed at them. Instantly he drew his weapon. This was the last straw for the girl as she dropped her weapon and ran.

There was silence in the room as the group looked at the devistation around them. From a large hole is the wall through which the last rays of dusk shone into the chamber, the group could see the desert. The Geudo camp was in ruins. Smoke rose from a blackened stain where an explosives cache had been destroyed. Sand, picked up and whirled into the air by the rift, lay like golden snow on the remains of the ancient temple. The front lines could be distinguished by a long smear on the dunes where the sands were smeared with blood. If hell could have visisted and left a place in a matter of hours it could only attempt to impersonate the horrific scarred landscape that befell the group's eyes.

"This is terrible" said Naarsa, her voice a hoarse whisper, "What happened here?"

"War" said Garath grimly, "That's what happened here."

"Why did this have to happen?" asked Landara

[Sasha]

Mabala decks Garath across the face. " MORON you just had to do that didn't you."

Asylintha sweatdrops. " I take it something bad will happen."

[Gee-chan]

"What else was I supposed to do?!?" yelled Garath, "First thing I see when I get back here is a girl who was one of the ones trying to kill me before pointing a sword in my direction! For all I know she may have been about to attempt to cut us down."


In an intact room, deep in the temple, the Gerudo girl dashed in breathing heavily. Turning to face her as she came in were a group of other, older Gerudo.

"What is it, Rinu?" asked one of them.

"Demons" gasped Rinu, "There are monsters in the Statue Chamber"

"Demons?" asked the woman

"Yes" said Rinu, "When I went in there were three of them. One of them said she was Mabala and said the others were slaves she had freed. Then another appeared out of no-where, then three more. One of them was a man who drew a weapon at me. I panicked and ran."

"You ran?" said the older Gerudo, "You abandoned your honour and fled?"

"Leave her" came an assertive voice from the back of the room, "If what she said was true and there are monsters here then she did the right thing to run and alert us before more appeared."

Stepping towards the front was an old woman of Gerudo blood. Unlike other Gerudo her long hair was pure white and her aged eyes held the memories of many many long years but the way she carried herself was still strong and balanced.

"Thank you, Elder." said Rinu, "Shall I come with you?"

"If you wish" said the Elder, leaving the room.


"What will happen now?" asked Naarsa

"If we're lucky then we will be detained by an squad of armed guards" said Landara

"And if we're unlucky?" asked Naarsa

"If we are unlucky" said Landara, her face fearful, "Then we will have to face one of the elders."

[AshK]

"I so can't believe that you scared her off. You put our lives in danger when you raised your sword Garath! That is really wrong. It's your fault if we get attacked by an elder!" Alana scolded.

[Sasha]

Mabala nods. " Hopefully the elder will listen if its one."

[Shadowmaster]

"Not much we can do about it now..." Lyon says as she looks around. "If your worried, we should probably leave."

[AshK]

"I think we should stay to see what happens and let Mabala-Chan handle it." Alana said.

[Gee-chan]

"That would be a sensible decision" came a voice from the doorway as an old gerudo woman with a gnarled looking staff walked in. "It would be such a waste if you did something rash and forced me to be hasty."

The woman eyed the group, starting with Garath. She looked him up and down as if she was impressed (truth be told, she saw him as a good mate for one of her girls, a man who would sire strong warriors). Next her eyes went to Mabala and Asylintha. She looked at them multiple times, noting the similarities, then moved onto Alana. She did not spend too much time on Alana but did pay close attention to her eyes for some reason. Lyon, who was next was given the same treatment as Alana and was followed by Naarsa. It was not so much Naarsa who was paid attention to, but it was the knife in her hand which seemed to intrigue the old woman. Last looked at, and glanced over was Landara.

The elder finished her examination and spoke. "Tell me" she said, "Who are you? Your party is an odd one; Gerudo, Hylian and Twili, all imbued with a strength of spirit that should be impossible. As for you Twili, you should not exist in this world. Why are you here?"

Landara was first to reply. "I am Landara." she said, "When me and King Merk followed the hylians to this chamber we found ourselves in front of a hole in everything. I managed to make sure Merk got out but then I was pulled in."

"I can assume you all have similar stories" said the elder.

Naarsa nodded.

"Yes, we do." said Garath, "What? are you going to hold us prisoner here?"

"Give me a good reason why I should not." said the elder

[Sasha]

Mabala looks at asy who nods. " You can tell her."

Asylintha nods. " You see I am Mabala's both born at the same time. We both share links and are the only current known ones at this time. I was at a festival when the gate opened and pulled me in. When i woke up I was by Mabala here and the sages explained what must be done. I Still stay by my sisters side and protect her no matter what."

[Shadowmaster]

Lyon looks at the old woman. This doesn't look good. she thinks.

[Gee-chan]

"The sages?" asked the elder. She broke out into a course, dry laugh. "Those old fools have entrusted their favor onto the likes of you?" Her laugher vanished as quickly as it had appeared. "Whether or not the guardians of the Sacred Realm have blessed you, you are still in our lands without invite."

"You can't keep us here" said Garath, "We have been charged with saving this world and another."

"I am aware of that." said the elder, "and as such I am giving you an offer that I do not extend to most. You will be held here until I have gone. After that you must find your way to the Elder's chamber, deep within these ruins. When and if you find your way there you must succeed in disarming me. Be wary, these halls have seen many deeds that should never have taken place and the remains of those who were the victims dwell here still. You will find that they are highly aggressive and can be quite resilient. If you pass my test and prove yourselves worthy then you may leave. If you do not then you will stay here until you do prove yourselves, which may take a while sealed in the catacombs under these ruins."

With that the elder turned and left. Even after she was gone a guard stood at her post at the exit.

"Did we make her angry or something?" asked Naarsa

"No" said Landara, "She seemed to be in quite a generous mood just then. Believe me, you do not want to make one of the elders angry."

[Sasha]

Mabala pales. " ya your right sister. We got off easy. Well lets get going."

Asylintha looks at her. " You know where to go?"

Mabala nods. " This temple is where i took my right at."
