Legend of Zelda: Congregation of Shadows (the RP)

[AshK]

"I am really worried now. I don't know what I should do." Alana thought not knowing what to say.

[Shadowmaster]

"Well, we should probably start." Lyon says. "The sooner we do this, the sooner we can start the real mission."

[Gee-chan]

"You may proceed" announces the guard at the door, stepping aside, "I would recommend being careful down there. I for one will not be inclined to come look for you. Assuming there is anything left to find."

As the group go through the passage they find the path to the right of them blocked by debris. To the left was a long stairwell leading down into the darkness. As they followed the path they found it was rather simplistic until they came to a large, ancient hall. If they could have seen it in its prime it would have been a breathtaking spectacle, however now it was withered from age and the elements.

"Where do we go now" asked Naarsa.

Looking around he found them presented with three different paths they could take. The path to the left led further down, a cool breeze providing a refreshing break from the stagnant air around them. The right passage led up, but was dry and stuffy. The centre path led straight ahead, however closer inspection revealed that it was blocked by some fallen rocks.

[Sasha]

Mabala thinks. " I believe the path is to the right."

Asylintha blinks. " You sure?"

Mabala nods. " ya."

[AshK]

*Alana goes down the stairs with the rest of the Group.*

"Are you sure this is where we have to go?" Alana asked.

[Shadowmaster]

"Well, I suppose we should follow the one who would know the best." Lyon says.

[Gee-chan]

The group head down the right-side passageway. It was a a steady slope up with signs of much wear. As they continued the air became increasingly arid but it did not feel like the dry air of the desert. After a short while the corridor opened up into a small circular chamber. As the group stepped inside a metal grill slammed shut behind them.

"What the?" exclaimed Garath.

Looking around the group could see a series of small holes lining the top of the wall. A slow trickle of jet black sand began to fall from one or two and increased until it poured out of all of them. Rather than hit the ground, the sand seemed to hover and drift towards the centre of the room, collecting until it formed a large black sphere. The shifting ball drifted to the ground slowly taking on a vaguely humanoid shape.

"What in the world is it?" asked Landara

"It's not alive" said Naarsa, "I can feel souls gathering into this place."

"Souls?" asked Garath

"I don't know why I can feel them." said Naarsa, "But I can feel their presence and hear them as they scream in tortured rage."

As if on cue the sand golem launched a punch at the group, it's arm extending towards them like a long, coiling snake.

[Sasha]

Mabala grins. " Looks liek its time for some fun." She unstraps her sword form her back and jumps up and slashes down on teh arm.

Asylintha grins. " Right behind ya Sis." She sends out a wave of black flames at it.

[Shadowmaster]

Lyon jumps back from the attack and takes out her sword. She then runs behind the creature, and launches a slash at it's back.

[AshK]

*Giggle* "It looks like it's battle Time! I'm ready!" Alana said as she took out her Katana Blade and started Attacking.

[Gee-chan]

The creature howls in pain as the sword strikes land. Instantly it scatters, the sand that forms it gathering round a small white sphere in the middle of the cloud. Before long the creature had reformed into a smaller shape, much like the last but with a shining surface of obsidan scales.

Garath drew his swords and attacked the creature but as the blows landed they were simply blocked by the golem's hard shell. It had adapted to fend off the slashing attacks used on it.

"The thing in the centre!" yelled Naarsa, pulling out her knife, "That's where the energy is coming from."

"Then we destroy it." said Landara, drawing her bow. She fired an arrow into the monster and surprisingly they hit perfectly. "Look!" she yelled, "It can only adapt to one attack style at a time."

The monster bellowed with the face of a twisted skull and pulled something off its arm. It was a long black scale, much like the ones on its body, but this one it held like a scimitar, swinging with a wide sweeping attack.

[Sasha]

Mabala and Asy get knocked back some. " You ok asy?"

Asylintha nods. " Aye."

Mabala grins. "Same here but that thing will pay for that." she says." She jumps up and lands on its back and swings her sword once more at it but black flames surround her sword before hit its it."

Asylintha blink. " That looks just like my attack." She mumbles.

[AshK]

"Cool! If it can only adapt to one Attack Style at a time. When you attack with the bow and arrow, I can slash at it with my Katana Blade and Stab it with my Daggers." Alana said.

[Gee-chan]

Despite the added power from the spell (however inexperienced it may have been), Mabala's attack bounces off the surface of the opponent with very little effect.

As Mabala leapt back, Garath made a lunge with one of his blades which actually did some damage. The monster promptly changed again to a large, burly form, it's arms now shield-like slabs.

"It has to take enough damage before it changes." said Garath, "When it does attack that orb thing in the middle."

"I'll make it switch" yelled Naarsa, "Get ready to attack its core."

However when Naarsa began to charge the spell into his knife nothing happened. It was almost as though the blade was absorbing any energy it came near. At the delay the beast charged forwards ramming the girl with an arm which sent her flying backwards while still keeping itself covered with the other arm.

"What are you waiting for!?" yelled Landara

"My magic won't work" gasped Naarsa and she tried to pull herself to her feet. "My knife is stopping me from casting with it."

[Sasha]

Mabala growls and looks at Asy who nods. The both charge at it boucing back and forth striking it while it chnages it attentio nto one of them teh other aims for the core.
