((I'm really starting to think it'd be a better idea if we gave the AFKer's spots to people who actually come to these forums regularly. We might have to do everything all over again, but at least we'll be going somewhere. :/))

(Let's just say I got lost in the excess of posts...)

"...Can't beleive the restaurant I was at was packed." Mel said entering his home, also still a bit mad that he didn't get served at all.

"Might as well fix a sandwhich while I get settled in." Mel said doing said thing but, not before noticing a weird green tinted pocket mirror on the counter in the kitchen.

"Now what could this be." Mel said as he picked up the mirror as he sees a nondescript(For the moment) green haired ninja girl in the mirror.

"And what's that?" Mel said noting the girl in the mirror was mimicking his movements. "Weird..." Mel said as he then gets engulfed in a green flash, saying nothing of course, at least not yet.

(I could fix this before doing the transformation in this post if it's not okay...)

First off: See no problem with the post Hira. Feel free to continue.

Second, for the those wondering what to do: Perhaps a family member comes knocking? Or maybe you go out to 'Try out' the new form? Just think. If this happened in real life. What would you do?

I'm going to go digging through my thoughts for ideas myself on how to spice things up.

Before he had too much time to gawk at his newfound strangeness, Ray heard a pounding at the door.

"Oh no. Did I pay rent? I'm sure I paid rent..." He scrambled to the door, managing to trip on at least three separate kinds of car parts as he did. He opened the door and meekly answered. "Yes?"


(Okay, I could have an argument with myself, but that's boring and pointless. My next NPC is up for grabs before being even properly introduced. You can make Ray's landlord/lady however you want if you take up arguing with me about the racket, mess, and rent payment (800 smackers due in 1 week). If you've had experience with landlords before, you know the odder the better.

Melody continues to look out the mirror, musing. "So this is what happens, huh? I wonder if I'll ever be able to go back to my old life..." Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, a voice coming from the other side. "Melanie? Are you in there? I wanted to talk to you about something." The door opens, Melanie's mother walking in. She notices the new woman in the room, and gasps. "Huh? Who are you? Where's Melanie?"

"Mom, look, I know I look different, but I can explain..." Melody said, nervous. "I'm Melanie, I'm just.... changed..." However, her mother does not seem to hear this, and screams. "Who are you and what have you done with my daughter! Tell me!" She graps a nearby broom and points the handle at Melody. Melody backs up. "Mom, it's me! I'm Melanie!"

Her mother still doesn't listen. "That's rubbish! You look nothing like my daughter! You're not her! Give her back, whatever you've done to her!" She swings the broom, hitting Melody upside the head. "Give her back NOW!!!" Melody looks at her mother, frightened. "Mom! It really is me! I'm serious!" At this, Melanie's mother runs to the phone, dialing a number. "Hello, police? I have a mad woman in my house! She kidnapped my daughter!" At this Melody gasped, and ran out, not wanting an encounter with the police.

(Hmm... how to make this awkward...)

Mike just stared at herself in the mirror, occasionally catching glimpses of her old self, before the pointed ears and tail, until a knock came to the door and a loud, obnoxious voice comes through the old wood:
"RENT!"

The abrupt command from his landlord banging through the apartments in the middle of the night (as was his custom) managed to shatter Mike's trance, and she finally began searching for somewhere to hide, looking left, right, down, up.

The bathroom's no good, the stupid landlord searches everywhere, and is very patient when it comes to collecting his gains. The bed's too low to the ground to hide there, the window on the other side of the room was closed and she'd never reach it in time anyway.

Up... up looked promising.

The landlord finally found the right key and burst through the door to find it devoid of all kinds of life, except a fly trying to escape through the closed window. The landlord walked over to the open door of the bathroom and took a brief look inside before grunting and stepping back out the door, muttering something about stupid teenagers.

Mike dropped from her spot clinging to the ceiling above the door of the bathroom, landing softly on the tiles and smiling to herself. Maybe I could get used to this, she thought.

(That's a good start. I can take control of any NPCs if you folks want me to. Or if you want me to just think up a random NPC to come bothering you, I can do that too.

I'm going to take control of muffinstud's landlord probably tomorrow. Just not in me today.

Also: Good RP Melkorios, interesting thing to happen. )

Melody runs through the streets, trying to get as far from her home as possible. "Not like it matters...." Melody said to herself. "You stick out like a sore thumb anyways..." That's when she gasped, remembering one of her powers. In a flash of light, she changed her outfit to blend in a little better, making her fit in well, and thankfully pink hair was common enough for her not to stick out in that regard. She soon came to a stop, breathing heavy from the running. "Man.... kicked out of my own home...." She looked down at herself. "What am I going to do now?"

All sorts of scenarios rushed through Melody's thoughts. The mirror really didn't matter at this point. She figured she would get it later when the chaos had died down, maybe with the help of the other shard guardians... "Where are they, anyways?" Melody asked herself. She continued thinking, where to go, until she remembered that kind restaurant owner. If anyone would believe her, he would.... and if not, she would lose the only friend she had.... Not exactly confidence inducing, but it was better than nothing. At that, Melody rushed to the restaurant, hoping he was still there.

Standing outside Ray's door was a women of grandmother age. Though she only stood about four feet tall, she had a very meniching air about her. Upon this visit she wore, as she usually did, a pair of yellow shorts, a purple wool dress shirt, and a red bandana upon her head.

"Ray, you haven't paid rent yet. You know the rule! You don't pay you don't stay!" She barked out in a calm, yet irritant manner.
