Pokemon: The Hybrid Adventures, the rp (Complete)

[Sailor Ganymede]

"That was just way too weird. Maybe that was the real Darkrai." Erin said.

"Well perhaps it was, or it could've been a fake as well." Leo says as he shrugs.

[Gee-chan]

"Is it beaten?" asked Tina

"Not quite" said Tom

The dark orb pulsed and spread creating a huge void of darkness that filled most of the room before contracting to reveal a fully regenerated Darkrai.

"I would recommend that you give up right now" it said, "You cannot defeat me."

Tom and Gengar looked at each other.

"We've been busy today haven't we?" asked Tom

"Yes" said Gengar, "This should be out last task for now though.

Tom walked forward towards Darkrai.

"Let us handle this" he said to the others, "His power exists on an astral level, you are physical and cannot do anything against him. We are not quite astral, but are close enough."

He dashed forward and launched a powerful straight punch to Darkrai's face, followed by an uppercut and a downwards kick. His face cracked, Darkrai used a Dark Pulse but Tom seemed to ignore it. Holding his right hand out to his side, the air around his palm shimmered as a sword materialised from no-where and was instantly used to slice Darkrai down the middle. The split shell faded away as the core was shown bare once more. Tom stepped aside as Gengar shimmered into existance in front of him, draining away at the mass of dark energy.

Tom looked back at the others, pointing his sword into the gloom. "The next passageway is about 12 meters in that direction. It is obscured by darkness so thick that nothing can see through it but it is there. We will stay here."

"But what will happen afterwards?" asked Tina

"Who knows." said Tom, "Perhaps we will fade away into the ether. Or perhaps we will find our way back to you. Whatever happens, happens. You only need to worry about it when you know how it will end."

As Tom spoke the orb began to act again. It was weakened, but it was still powerful.

"Get going!" yelled Tom,readying his sword.

Tina, Absol and everyone else ran into the gloom. The last they saw of the battle was the orb grow as Tom leapt back into the fray, a childish grin on his chilling face.

OOC: Thanks for letting me do this Shadow. This was the best way I could think of finishing Tom and Gengar as them simply fading away just didn't seem to give them justice.

[Sasha]

Aiko looks at the celling noticing her attacks left a hole in the roof and looks down at mew. " Mew Look after the others and let them out when it is safe I'm moving ahead." She flies off tehrw the hole.

[Sailor Ganymede]

"I'm worried. We had quite a few pretty tough fights up until now. Are you sure we will be able to defeat Arceus again?" Erin said then asked.

"First we go where Tom told us to go." Leo says.

*Erin and Leo do as Tom says.*

[Shadowmaster]

"Yes, let us continue..." #197 said.

The master continued smirking as he moved on. "Heh, only a few more minutes..."

The hole leads to a hallway above the room. Aiko could see a door in front of her. The door was at least 20 feet tall, and seemed to be made of pure marble.

[Sasha]

Aiko wlaks up andl ooks at teh door before opening and heading in.

Mew Jolt and Undien follow the others.

[Shadowmaster]

As the group walks up through the doors and up the stairs that follow, they'll find themselves in a long hallway with a marble door at the end.

As Aiko enters the room, the first thing she may notice is that it seems far too large to have been in the tower. The next thing would probably be the apparent lack of anything or anyone in the room.

"So, you abominations were capable of defeating my guardians? And you even got your hands on Rayquaza...regardless. I shall put an end to all of this nonsense now." The familiar voice of Arceus says.

[Sasha]

Aiko laughs at Arceus. " You where the one that made all those fakes and you call what we doing wrong your mistaken. I'll end you now."

[Shadowmaster]

"I am a God. I do not make mistakes. I am infallible." Arceus says. "They were created by me, just as all life was. Therefore, they were just as real as any other being."

[Sasha]

She grins. " your wrong and I shall prove it." She fires up her flames and charges at him."


meanwhile teh finger makes it way up the tower.

[Sailor Ganymede]

"Well I guess we should see if we can go into that door huh?" Erin asked.

"I have a feeling that Arceus will be a lot tougher this time then he was last time we faced him." Leo said.

[Shadowmaster]

"Yes...let's go." The master says, rushing toward the door.

As Aiko reaches Arceus, her attack is stopped by a barrier that surrounds him. "I'll admit. Creating those pokemon today was quite tiring. It left me a bit...weakened. But I'm still quite powerful." it says.

[Sasha]

She grins darkly. " Feh you should have known better." She says activating her bracers and charging back it with a flaming sky attack.

mew nods. " I feel taht Aiko has already engaged him." Jolt and Undine follow her.

[Gee-chan]

The corridor was a long, winding staircase and the darkness still dominated the eye. Thanks to their attributes, Absol and Tina could see reasonably well as they ran ever forwards.

"Hey, Absol" asked Tina, breaking the silence, "I need to ask you something."

"What?" said Absol

"Was I always that well built?" asked Tina, "Seriously, I don't remember ever having a build that strong."

"I don't think so" said Absol, repressing a very slight blush 'Shut up, stupid human hormones!'





Elsewhere, in a secret location

"I can't just stay here!" yelled a blonde woman, "I need to get outside and look for him."

"I cannot allow you to do that, Kate." said the tall, older man standing by a large desk. "Team Rocket is under lockdown until we have devised a way to keep all our employees safe. If you go out there we cannot guarantee that you will not be a liability to us. Your loyalty is not being questioned here, however against the Hybrids, loyalty means nothing if you are captured."

"But we already have the safety method" said Kate, "You just won't let us use it."

"We don't know if it works yet" said Giovanni, "It is not the alteration of form that we are concerned about, it is the effect on the mind."

"Then let me be the test subject" said Kate, "I'll take the safety with me, if it works then it will be a success and we can come out again. If not then I will be lost to you anyway."

"My decision is final, Kate" said Giovanni, "And my decision is no."

"Fine" said Kate, "then I'll take it myself."

With that she stormed out of the room.

"I'm sorry I have to do this" said Giovanni, picking up the phone. "Put me through to security."

OOC: This is the first part of Kate and the Hybrid Squad's conclusion. It would just annoy me too much not to bring around some sort of conclusion for them while this chapter still lasts. Could I ask for no meddling in this part please? It won't affect the current story, only a few characters of my creation (and Giovanni who was sort of under my control anyway)

OOC: Well I don't have a problem with it. Just as long as Shadowmaster is alright with it. I am not sure what Darkstar will think, but still I don't have a problem with it. Oh and by the way you misspelled Giovanni. The second letter is an "i" not an "e". As long as Shadow has cleared it I'm okay with it.
