OOC: Dark, I know that all you are doing is trying to enforce your 'all-powerful' will upon my story so I shall make a point to ignore anything you say in the matter until this is discussed between you, me and shadow with no proxies. I really didn't want to have to resort to throwing down this gauntlet but you have forced my (until recently, gloved) hand. This is meant to be a fun activity, you however are trying to run a dictatorship over it and frankly I have had enough.
A great dome flickered above the floating city as the protective barrier was assaulted from all sides. The sky roiled as the great tear was forced together and sealed with power unimaginable. The flow of beasts from the sky ended as their link was broken, but those that did get through were still plentiful, and highly dangerous.
The defender descended to the barrier, tearing and hurling her way through the spectral attackers as she swept the barrier's surface. However the barrier, built for attacks from physical entities, was failing. Nothing had yet broken through, but they were not far off.
Far below, Spi reached towards the sky, her stone shining, her left eye swirling like a tornado, her will gathering in her grasp.
The blast was of phenomenal power. Power so great is even threw back the defender who watched as the barrier was torn open from the inside. Where had it come from?
The barrier crumbled into un-channeled energy and evaporated away. With nothing holding them back, the few remaining invaders flocked towards the city, seeking the great power that granted them passage. The defender sped after them, her tendrils spread out behind her. She couldn't let them reach a living being, if they did they would become near unstoppable....plus the fact that whoever was attacked would be lost forever was also a slight issue.
Down below, inside the citadel, Casey looked on in horror. He had seen what Spi had done, where she gained such power eluded and scared him, but he now knew that she was something to be feared and a force to be reckoned with.
The defender drew closer to the great power her foes were attracted to but was forced to stop, as were her quarry. A girl walked in the air, dancing in a joyful trance as the attackers hung motionlessly around her, held back by the sheer presence she emitted.
The defender quickly banished the last of the invaders and beheld the girl, the girl she had brought back into the the world. The girl looked back at her with eyes filled with countless consciousnesses, each observing Tina, the surrogate guardian of the astral and spectral realms, a girl who's burden was crushing her alive.
The pair hung in the air for over a minute before Tina seemed to weaken, then fell to the ground, while Spi simply returned to where she once stood and closed her eyes as the stone around her neck returned to normalcy.
