But regardless, I've been listening to Chicago, thanks to my father, for years. He has darn good taste in music.

That isn't to say though, that he approves of everything I listen to, but I certainly respect his taste in music. Anything that's kinda rock-ish/jazzy is neat in my books.

My father mostly listened to classic rock and metal (at the time I was still living with him). I don't know if it's due to the fact that I grew up listening to what he listened to or not, but I can't fault his picks (that I know of) back then. Boston was also one of his favorite bands. These last few years I've noticed that he has made many of his choices in music because of the talent of the artists, either musically or expressively, which is what he has done (for the most part) since the beginning. For instance, I probably wouldn't have had any interest in looking up Frank Zappa if my father hadn't said anything about him.
