The boy helping Turles out laughs a little, "Well...we've been playing defense for a good while, but rumor has it that the council is about to assign a team to start making offensive strikes."

The technicians shake their heads, "No, if you were innoculated immediately, there'll be no effects now."

The councilman Surge speaks to stands up and stands next to the window alongside him, "It's a dismal scope we're looking in. Every scientific breakthrough weapon-wise is quickly destroyed by the girls. This is the only way we can see for this...with a little more time, and the girl's advancing hindered...we might find what we're looking for." The boy Surge looked to had already brought a list of boys. There were only a rare few on the list since most boys didn't make it outside their seconds experience. Julian, Max, Dan, Arthur. Inexperienced boys who fit the description are also listed. Ashton, Ken, Silva. (I think that's everyone...)

The doctor with Ashton nods, "A fine attitude. It should help slow your progression more...but beware of yourself after a few weeks, you need to start noticing what you think as you continue fighting."

A doctor gets to Max, "Well...look what we have here. This is a nasty burn, but with the adrenal stimulant you were given it shouldn't be more than half a day before your hands are back good as new." he says after a quick examination and handing Max an ice pack.

The girl interviewer smiled, "And there's question three. Very good Alana, we'll have our eyes on you since you're a special case, but it looks as if you're well on your way to being accepted here. Show her to the operation room for her cybernetics." she waves Alana and Rachel away with a slight gesture and Rachel escorts Alana to the pre-op room.

[Knight Errant]

Once assured everything is alright with his check up, Julian heads for the one place he really needed to visit... The firing range.

He needed some time to think... and the focus of a steady shot usually helped put things into perspective.

Alana smiles back, bows, and nods. She then follows Rachel.

"Okay if you don't want me to call you Rachel-Sama, how about Rachel-Chan or Rachel-San?" Alana asks out of curiosity.

"Thank you sir, that's good to hear." Max said as he took the ice pack and left the medical facilities. "Thank God for that medic who gave me the stim during the attack..." the boy thought to himself as he began his short trek to the makeshift barracks, "I wonder if he made it out." Deciding that he would make it a point to find the guy who had assisted him so much he stopped next to an officer who happened to be standing outside the quarters. Saluting, rather weakly because of his hands, and receiving a salute he inquired, "Sir, are he medics quartered in a separate facility?"

Surge looked over the list and couldn't help but slam his fist into the window. "Only 7?!... So what is protecting this base is a bunch of kids that can barely stand the brunt on war and let alone shot at another human being. He thought trying to calm his nerves. Surge walked to the center of the room brushing his hair with his hand while sighing. "This is a little less than what I expected, but we should be able to acomplish the mission. Well... might as well get started". Surge took some maps from the table in the room and walked to the door and opened it while giving his back to the councilman. "One more thing... when I come back I better not see anyone missing. Also, this thing you guys are looking for. It better damn well be what you say it is...". He then pressed a button and grabed a mic that was on the wall. "Attencion men, soldiers Julian, Max, Dan, Arthur, Ashton, Ken and Silva are to report to the hangar bay. I repeat Julian, Max, Dan, Arthur, Ashton, Ken and Silva are to report to the hangar bay". Surge then placed the mic on the wall, turned around a saluted the councilman before walking off.

[Haylie]

Shawn, who was laying underneath the truck with the misaligned wheels, speaks. His voice is muffled, but still understandable.

"You're telling me. I'm not sure how much longer our luck will last."

Julian felt much more relaxed in the firing range. However, since safety is ALWAYS the number one priority, his ear protection greatly limited his ability to hear Surge's hail.

As Shawn was tinkering under the transport, he would feel a slight kick on the bottom of his boot. "Good afternoon soldier, already on the job I see." the voice was that of the platoon leader he'd been sidekicking with the last two days, "How're you holding up today?"

The officer Max addressed nodded, "Sir any medics without injury were moved to work in the operation rooms while any infected medics were taken to...well...the operating rooms. So...they should all be there...er...sorry Sir. It's in the East block." This boy seemed to have gained his rank only recently.

Rachel laughed a little, "Rachel is fine for me Alana. If you want to call me something weird like that, that's your choice I suppose." they approached the operating room, "Well...here we are. Good luck, don't hurt too much in there." she patted Alana on the back and left.

[Knight Errant]

Indeed, with his ear protection on, he completely misses the call...

He begins training with his pistol, since the firing range for his rifle is much more tedious to set up. He wanted to keep his skills up with his pistol, anyway... With his rifle he was a surgeon, but when things went bad he would have to shoot his way out with his pistol.

And they always did...

Shawn shifts his weight a little.
"A little better than yesterday, sir. I would salute, but I'll lose this bolt if I do, sir."

[Mystic Mina]

Ashton quickly arrives at the hanger bay, his fear in tow. His hair looks a bit different now; he had it put up into a high ponytail so that it wouldn't get in his face. He doesn't seem to notice that it makes him look even more feminine.

"Ashton reporting, sir." He says to whoever is there to meet him. His voice is hardly recognizable anymore. It sounds more like a high school girl than a rough and tough soldier. "What are my orders?"

[Turles.]

-he cocks his gun back and yawns-

Well then whats the point in waiting? I want to be out there now, helping take out those damn women.

Put them back in the kitchen where they belong.

"So.... I guess you're one of the guys called over here, huh?" Ashton says to the newcomer, Silva. He tries to look as manly as possible to impress the boy, with his hands on his hips and his chest thrust out forward, but Ashton's actions seem to do nothing but make him look ridiculous. "I've never seen you around here before. When did you come?"

[Sam]

*Arthur is quietly waiting at the docking bay, he seems to be a bit nervous

Dan hears the announcement and throws his hands up in frustration. "And not a moment too soon!" He heads over to the hangar bay, and his eyes almost bug out when he spots Ashton. He looks around the large room as much as he can, yet his eyes always go back to the incredibly effeminate boy. That guy was a goner. Heck, Dan wasn't even sure if that was a boy any more.
