(I am still confused. I still think it's right that you control the Villains.)

*Alana draws her swords* "Who wants to take me on?" Alana asked as a ton of Tornadoes blew around her.

OOC: Come on people, give it a try. Cyclondia, there isn't much to be confused about. You just write the fight as though it was between two characters of your making. Shadow? You going to give it a try?

As soon as Garath's fight was over, Landara's opponent engaged in combat with her. The girl wielded a barbed whip, lashing and swirling it unpredictably, keeping Landara on her toes. Again and again she lashed and again and again it was narrowly dodged, only just seen even by Landara's newly keen eyes.

The dodger tried to notch an arrow but was interrupted by another assault which almost caught her leg. Retreating, she tried to get some distance but could not get far away enough to the get out of the whip's range. Her bow gave her no advantage here and the only other thing she had was....

The whip flew forwards from the gloom once more, but this time she did not dodge it. Instead she struck at it with her bow, the coil wrapping round the sturdy branch and gripping tightly. Holding onto the entangled whip, Landara drew the harpoon she was gifted with and pulled back on her bow. The girl with the whip, unwilling to let go of her weapon was force to stumble forwards, breaking her stance. In an instant, Landara was right in front of her, the serrated edge of the harpoon glimmered in the torchlight as the point touched flesh.

The beaten Gerudo girl dropped her weapon and closed her eyes, admitting defeat as Landara withdrew her weapon. She had no reason to do any more.

As Landara withdrew back to the sidelines, a third Gerudo woman readied her weapon; a brutal looking maul. Her heavily muscled body matched the huge hammer she held with ease, in direct contrast to the small and thin form of Naarsa.

Quickly looking around, Naarsa spotted and grabbed a branch leaning against the wall. It was long dead, but still strong and made of good oak. Perfect. she did not have enough time to celebrate, however, as the Gerudo smashed her maul against the ground, not quite breaking it open but causing enough of an impact to knock Naarsa off her feet. In a second, the Gerudo giant had already raised her titanic hammer from the ground.
Quickly getting to her feet, Naarsa pointed the end of her stick at the ground.

"Shadow art: Obsidian Blades!"

The ground ruptured as dozens of jet-black spikes burst out from underneath, taking the Gerudo off-guard and giving Naarsa the chance to do a stronger spell.

"Black Arcana!"

She held the staff out horizontally in front of her, where it stayed, hovering in the air, while behind it her hands made intricate and wondrous movements, backed by the low muttering of the incantations she chanted.

"Summoning Ritual: Obsidian Golem!"

She clapped her hands together as she finished the spell. In front of her, the black shards in the ground rose into the air, combining into a single whirling mass, which even as it was watched, began to implode on itself. Suddenly, it burst apart and out of the dust came a crude and broad figure, it's face nothing but an otherworldly symbol resembling en eye, it's body burly and ill-shaped and it's limbs thick and powerful.
Silently, the golem lumbered forwards towards the Gerudo, who swung her maul brutally. The blow smashed into the golem's arm, cracking it, but otherwise it did not move. In an instant the golem launched a punch, which although did not land well, still knocked the Gerudo backwards. Her eye's enraged, the huge woman swang again, far harder than last time. Automatically, the golem raised it's arm to take the blow, catching the huge hammer in it's hand, however despite the thing's solid construction, half of the arm used for defense was destroyed outright, not that it seemed to matter, as it ignored the damage it had taken, swinging a powerful and unstoppable punch to the Gerudo's stomach. In the face of such an attack, the huge woman doubled over, dropping her hammer as she fell to her hands and knees.
The golem raised it's arm again, ready to deal the finishing blow, but the blow never came. Behind it, Naarsa dropped her focus, her staff falling to the ground while her creation stood motionless, like the statue it was. She had won, she needed to do no more, nor did she wish to.

OOC: Phew, this was hard work to get. But, I finally managed to work together with dark to get this written. Sorry for the double post but there really should be some sort of divider.

As Mabala and Asylintha's turn arrives, two Gerudo step forward to engage the pair. One with a polearm over he shoulder, the other carrying a longsword. The due matched themselves up with their opponents, the polearm holder against Asylintha, the swordswoman against Mabala.

Of the pair, only Asylintha drew her weapon, Mabala simply stood there, her head hung low.
While the swordswoman stayed on her guard, the polearm wielder was quick to strike, launching a massive overhead strike which made Asylintha leap back to make a successful block.

With her weapon now held against Asylintha's the Gerudo tries to force her down while sweeping her polearm across in front of her, taking Asylintha with it, straight in the direction of a stone wall. Even as she was forced to the said Asylintha grinned. She quickly lifted herself off the ground and bounced off the wall with her feet, pushing her self back at her opponent, who was bringing back her weapon.

"You gotta try better than that” taunted Asylintha, “or is this all you got?"

She lunged at her opponent with a dashing stab, only for the Gerudo to block it with the shaft of her weapon and counter with a cruel punch to the stomach.

At the sidelines, the elder looked at Mabala's still form, her weapon not drawn even as her opponent stood before her ready to make an attack at any second.

"You!" she yelled, "Why do you not fight? Your life rests upon this and still you do not move, what use would you be to the world you are charged with if this is as far as you will allow yourself to go?"

Mabala looks up. " because Elder If I did I would lose it anyway because I value my honour and your teachings I grew up on above all else. As I grew up you taught me everything but one lesson you drilled into me. No matter what the reason, one should never strike their sister at any time or situation outside of training. To do so is considered dishonourable and would cause one to lose their life. As a honourable warrior I can't bring myself to break the teachings”

"Pah! You think that I have not raised my hand and blade against a sister when the time came? In-fighting is often a solution, and can be the most honourable win there is. Cowardice, and refusal to fight, such as you are showing me here, is the greatest shame a warrior could display. You wish to back down without even putting up a fight? Then your honour is forfeit, as is your life"

Mabala shakes her head. " Elder you raised me as your own child and such taught me everything you would teach your own daughter. You would never break the teachings yourself because elder you are the most honourable person I have ever met and i hoped to be like you one day."

The elder glared at the girl, but a slow smile emerged on her face. "You are a fool." she said, "but you are young, so that goes without saying. I was once like you, my honour was everything, and without it my life was nothing. But understand this, there is more than just the laws of honour. Look to your companions, to the girl who stands beside you. If it would benefit your honour would you cut them down where they stand?"

She shakes her head. " because elder they are my friends and Asylintha here is my sister. I can't because as once more you taught me family and friends mean everything to us. If they where harmed by any one one may take revenge on the one harming them. Even thou I haven't known them for a long time that closeness is there honourable elder.”

"so you understand" said the elder, "honour, when it comes down to it, is little more than a word. but it serves its purpose. Our laws are not simply to prove the honour of our warriors, but to ensure the survival of our people, without such laws we would be little more than beasts, slaying each other with no reason or sense. By abiding to such rules you can walk the path of a champion, but it takes a true warrior to know when such rules must be cast aside."

She looks down. " I still can't bring myself to harm one of my sisters thou I would have no problem if it was anyone else besides a friend or sister, elder but you teachings where just so well done and drilled in I can't break them without permission."

"well then" said the elder, "simply don't harm her. Your companions have managed that, are you saying that you, a fully fledged Gerudo warrior cannot do the same? Are you going to let that man better you?"

"Huh?" asked Garath, "What did I do?"

"Just shut up" hissed Landara, "She's trying to prove a point. Don't ruin the moment"

Mabala scoffs. " I am way better them him After all I did leave that mark on his face when I faced him on the field of battle so I already proven I am stronger them him."

“What does that count for if you cannot even pass a simple trail.” said the elder. “Draw your blade and show me what you are. Earn your name, Gerudo.”

Seeing Mabala start to make a move, the Gerudo swordswoman lunges with blistering speed as her opponent is still readying her stance. In the blink of an eye, Mabala swings her sword up, catches it under the other's sword and kicks her away.

The swords-woman quickly recovered from the kick and darted forwards, the flat of her blade aimed to take out Mabala's legs, only for Mabala to jump up onto the blade, hop over and kicks her in the back sending, her toward the nearby wall. The Swordswoman was quick to regain her stance, but this time it was different. she held herself defensibly, having realised a frontal attack would not work.

Mabala pulled out her bow and notched an arrow. She did not know what her opponent had planned, but she doubted that she would expect a range attack. The intricate carving in the wood shone as she drew back the string and ancient, long-forgotten words that could not be her own, quietly escaped from her mouth. The arrow was released perfectly, almost as though it was being guided towards it's target, spinning as it flew, stirring the dusting ground beneath it. Ready for the shot, the swordswoman blocked the arrow with her sword, but it was not the arrow that she should have been expecting. Unseeable, unexpectable, a great wall of air slammed against the unsuspecting girl, ripping the sword from her hand and hurling her backwards to slam against the wall. As she flew it was almost as though a golden figure was gliding alongside her, a figure who's touch ripped at her clothing like a thousand minuscule blades. Within a second, Mabala was on her, sword drawn, blade pointed at the fallen girl, who slumped against the wall in defeat....and very little else.

Asylintha staggered from her blow but launched a ball of shadows at the Gerudo fighter. using the distance she had gained with the punch, the polearm user adjusts the grip on her weapon, holding it just below the blade. In an instant she began to spin the blade like a drill and thrust it into the hurtling ball for energy, reversing it's course.

"Batter up!" Asylintha grins as she slams her sword into the incoming orb sending it at the Gerudo for a second time. In a single swipe, the polearm user cuts the bold of energy in two, the halves shooting past either side of her and exploding, causing a cloud of debris, out of which, with no warning what-so-ever came the pointed handle end of the girl's weapon aimed directly at Asylintha's face. It wasn't even by inches that Asylintha dodged the shot as she dived backwards, landing crouched on the ground.

Asylintha tucks behind a pillar holding the bow and blinks at the voice she hears and opens up the bottom and 3 arrows come out; one black, one silver, and one red. She loads up in a special slot and jumps out at her opponent.
"Let's see if this works.” she gathered her will as she released her shot. “Zereketh Arise now!"
The flying arrows curve towards each other, then smash together, erupting into a giant pillar of darkness. Inside the pillar a great dark figure forms. It's long, slender arms ended in wicket looking claws, it's body was little more than a black mass which balanced upon the very darkness it was born from. Perched upon it's shoulders was a dark abscess into which was set two white orbs from which came the black cloud that festered around it.
The figure looks at Asylintha's opponent.

"Chaos Burn." it hisses in a voice that echoes around it as it forms a giant black orb between its two hands which it fires it at her with vicious speed. The attack slams into the unprepared girl and knocks her out of the chamber entirely, leaving her crumpled against the wall in the corridor outside, next to the heavy stone door which now lay broken beyond repair.
It's task complete, the black form withdrew into itself, it's pale orbs fading away as it's dark body crumbled to a grey dust, which itself evaporated away. Within seconds, all that was left where the dark being had once stood, were three arrows, broken and twisted almost beyond recognition.

"Wow” gasped Asylintha, “.......that was cool!"

*Alana just waited. She was extremely bored as she looked at her finger nails. She was then knocked down by a Gerudo Warrior. She immediately drew her swords.*

"Hey what's the big idea?" Alana asked.

"You have to defeat me before you and the rest of your group can pass." The Gerudo Warrior said.

"It will be my pleasure!" Alana said hitting a fighting stance.

"It will be my pleasure to kill you." The Gerudo Warrior said as she drew her two swords and went after her.

*So the fight began. They seemed to be evenly matched until Alana was knocked down. The Gerudo Warrior was about ready to deal the finishing blow.*

"You are weak Hylian! We Gerudo are so much stronger than you humans it's incredible." The Gerudo Warrior said. She was about to deal the finishing blow when Alana glowed Silver and Blue.

"I will not be defeated. I will destroy you! "Hylian Twin Katana Hurricane Tornado Slash!" Alana said as she used the strength of a Hurricane and Tornado Combined to turn into Three Funnels with Rain coming down. The spinning attack hit home, knocking the Gerudo Warrior down.

"You have won this battle, but this is just the beginning." The Gerudo Warrior said as she fainted. She was outcold.

"Um so what do we do now?" Alana asked.

Lyon stepped toward her opponent, drawing her blade. Her foe, a gerudo warrior who wielded two short swords, also readied her weapons. The two stood there for just a moment, staring each other down.

The gerudo then leapt into an all out offensive. Striking quickly with both of her blades. Lyon blocked most of the strikes, taking a few cuts here and there. The gerudo then went to strike with both blades. Lyon blocked the strike with her sword and delivered a knee to her foes stomach. While the gerudo was still recovering, she delivered a sweeping kick to her foe.

Lyon lowered her blade to her fallen foes throat, keeping it within inches. "You are finished..." she said.

The sound of applause echoed through the room left quite by the end of the fighting. Her hands still beating, the elder rose and regarded the troupe.

"Congratulations" she said, "Your skills are formidable, as are your souls. You have shown power greater then any human, speed higher than even some of our fastest warriors and skill that it would take a lifetime to acquire. Such are the gifts bestowed to you by the great beyond. You have passed my trial with flying colours, despite a few setbacks, and we shall hold you here no more."

It was at this time, she walked up to and spoke to each party member individually.

Naarsa:
The elder looked down on the young Twili with a smile on her face, which to be honest scared her a bit.

"You are quite the formidable mage" she said, "With enough practice you could be one of the greatest forces to walk this land of Hyrule. But I sense doubt in your heart. Do you not wish for such power?"

"I don't know" said Naarsa, "I know that the more I use my craft the more skill I shall gain with it, but I wonder, what would be the price?"

"You fear you will lose even more of yourself if you continue down the road you are on?" asked the Elder

"Yes" said Naarsa

"I understand your concern" said the elder, "but you should not worry. It is only someone wish a weak spirit who could lose themselves on the natural path of magic, and you, young one, have a spirit stronger than anyone I have known."

Naarsa smiled, almost for the first time since coming here, "Thank you"

Garath:
Even though she had to look up to see him in the face, the elder still seemed to look down upon him.

"It has been a long time before a man worthy of respect stood before me" she said, "and it will probably be the last for my lifetime. You treat the air around you as footing and step upon it with grace like no mortal being in this world I have seen."

"It was my gift" said Garath, "He was an old man who would dance upon the light, even though it was dangerous to him."

"An extraordinary talent so be sure" said the elder, "But do you feel you have the wisdom to use it?"

"I do not know" said Garath, "I suppose only time will tell."

"Good answer" said the elder with a grin, "Such things are not for us to know, indeed it is only time that shall give us the answers, if we need them."

Garath bowed, "Thank you, wise one."

Landara:
The elder looked into Landara's eyes, surprised as what she saw there.

"Your eyes show a far-off ocean" she said, "Yet you have ever seen the sea have you?"

"No, I have not" said Landara, "The one who gave me their blessing was a strange creature who lived in such waters, why such a being was suited to me I don't know."

"Fate is rarely random, young one." said the elder, "I believe the time will come where you alone will be able to traverse the waves that stand before you all."

"But I cannot swim" said Landara, "I have only ever seen enough water to quench my first, never anything enough to surround me."

"From what I have seen of you all so far," said the elder, "You shall have no problem, trust in what you gave been given, and it shall put it's trust in you."

Lyon:
The elder looked at Lyon critically, eyeing the whole length of her body.

"Your style is based upon strength" asked the Elder, "Without the gift bestowed upon you, such a style would not work for one of your stature. This is not the form you have always held is it?"

Alana:
The elder looked her in the eyes, gazing deep and seeing all.

"You were a man once, were you not?" asked the elder, "You eyes do not hold the texture of one born into sisterhood."

Mabala and Asylintha:
The elder looked at the pair, going between them several times, and often looking at something between them.

"Interesting" she said, "You are linked, each giving strength to the other. It has the same feel as the blessings of your companions, but it is also very different. Tell me, what effect does such a connection have upon you?"
