Hybrid Adventures 2 (Closed)

[Gee-chan]

"Would it be better if I did?" asked Casey Wait a second, why am I asking them?!



Spi was inactive, she shadows dancing around her had faded away and her stone had become silent once more. Nothing was happening, the world was quiet. Perhaps it was the altitude, but she couldn't even hear the crying thoughts of the people around her. So much sadness and pain, wrapped up in a weak bundle of flesh, somehow managing not to break and spill out into a world. There was only one thing she noticed, something weak, nearby, but weak and suppressed.

"Monster...." she murmured, "She's awake again."

[Shadowmaster]

"It probably would be..." the voice responded, moving closer. "You're just a human. You have no powers to help you. It doesn't even look like you have a pokemon to help defend you."

[Gee-chan]

"Yes, I'm human." said Casey, "I'm not some kind of hybrid juggernaut, I'm just an average kid. As for my pokemon, she wandered off somewhere into this fog."

[Shadowmaster]

"Then it'll do you no good." the voice said. The figure was now just a few feet from Casey. "Well, your choice. What will you do? Run, or fight?"

[Gee-chan]

OOC: Grr, writing is coming hard to me at the moment......

Oni was almost literally buzzing with excitement as she watched her idols play on stage....although, buzzing may not have been the right word....sparking, perhaps?



"Is there an option to settle this peacefully?" asked Casey nervously "Wait a second? What the heck is 'thi's?"

[Shadowmaster]

OOC: It happens.

IC: "You want to settle peacefully?" another voice says from within the fog. "Really?"

"Hey, shut up! Don't talk to our enemies." the one in front of Casey says. "No, leave or be defeated."

"But what if he's not like the other humans?" the second voice asked.

"Of course he is, they won't accept us...not anymore." The first said.

[Gee-chan]

Casey listened to the little debate in confusion until the great hammer of realization came down upon him

"Hang on" he said, "You're hybrids arn't you?"

Should I be worried? Just how many of them are there? Stupid fog.

[Shadowmaster]

"Yeah...we are!" The one in fron of Casey said. "What of it?"

[Gee-chan]

"Who are you with?" asked Casey, "The freaky bird woman? Or the loonies going around with needles?"

Guess this explains the fog....come to think of it, did they notice Serene?

"Bird woman? What are you talking about? We were changed by the ones with needles, and have been here since." the second voice said.

"Not that it's your business." The first added.

[Gee-chan]

They don't associate with either of them? Do we have a third agenda here? Are they hostile to humans? Heck, are they hostile to other hybrids? Casey's thoughts were running riot, but there was still an odd calm in his head. Or perhaps they are just like any normal person; scared and lost.

"How many of you are there?" asked Casey, looking around in vain "Damn, I wish this fog would just disappear."

[Shadowmaster]

"All you need to know is that there are more of us than you..." The person in front of Casey said.

"Riley...maybe we shouldn't attack this one." The second voice said.

"Sarah! I told you not to use my name, geeze. How many times do we need to do this?" The figure, evidently named Riley, said.

"Come on, the others agree." The voice, apparently Sarah, said.

"Hmph, fine. Let up the fog." Riley said. After a moment the fog began to dissipate.

Now that everything was visible, the town didn't look nearly as run down as the fog had made it appear.

"You got lucky..." Riley said to Casey. If Casey listened very closely, he may be able to here some footsteps getting closer.

[Gee-chan]

Well, guess there's a first time for everything. Let's hope this isn't the last bit of good luck I'll be getting

Even though the fog was a lot thinner that it was before, Casey could still not see the features of those around him. All he could see were silhouettes, from one of them were coming the footsteps...but which one. Even though it had been implied that he was going to be let off, he still felt uneasy.

"Ok, um...Riley, was it?" said Casey, "Can we not do anything rash? I'm no threat to you, I'm just looking for my pokemon. Have you seen her? She's a rather striking Milotic who should be wandering around here somewhere."

[Shadowmaster]

"A Milotic...figures..." Riley says, walking away. "It will turn up eventually, I'm sure."

The footsteps behind Casey stopped. "Hi. I'm Sarah." A voice says from behind him. "Sorry about all this. Riley is...a bit hard to get along with at times." If Casey looks at the girl, he may notice that the girl he was currently speaking to appeared to be a Castform hybrid. (Better description to come.)
