Fable: The Ties that Bind (RP Thread)

(Wow. Interest in this thread has plummeted)

Scarlet wordlessly walks over to some seemingly random plants, plucks a few leaves, lights one on fire with a very small Fireball, then walks back over to Robin, holding out the burning leaf.

"Here. Smell this. And don't sneeze."

[Tiffany Grimm]

Robin does as she was told, and when she stops coughing, begins to cry.

[Shadowmaster]

Lyon looks at Robin. "What happened to you?" he asked.

[Tiffany Grimm]

Between sobs, Robin says, "I got attacked. I'm lucky to be..." She stops talking and cries quietly.

[Haylie]

Scarlet kneels beside her and puts her hand on Robin's cheek, a comforting gesture. In the mid-day sun, she should be able to see Scarlet's eyes, filled with motherly concern.
"Shhh. You'll be fine. Just tell us what happened."

[Tiffany Grimm]

"I got.... Ambushed by Summoners... When I went out to... Practice my archery..." Robin breathes deep and calms herself down.

[Kris_Roth]

Aloena looks over at Lyon and Cletus, Keaton, and Scarlet, and back at Robin. "You made it safely, and you found us." She then continues. "Robin, the summoners attacked the guild while we were on our mission. You think those were the same group, or a different group?"

Cletus, standing back to give the injured girl air and also not to impede on the healing process, nods his head. "I'd imagine so. I mean, they were out to get all of the new heroes. Why wouldn't they target her?"

[Kris_Roth]

Aloena nods and continues to heal up Robin. "You should stay with us, Robin, as our long-ranged specialist. Cletus and Lyon will be helping on the melee, and Keaton here is our will user, from what we found out about him." She then searches her pack for the food she got from the Guild. "Are you hungry, Robin? I have some food and drink for you." She hands the food and drink over to her.

[Haylie]

Scarlet shakes her head. "I don't think it was the same group. I destroyed those. It was most likely a fresh group."
She turns back to Robin. "I'm impressed you survived. Not many can boast an encounter with a Summoner and continue breathing. Let alone a group. Just how many were there?"

[Tiffany Grimm]

"Theere were two. They were pretty slow-witted, but still, they were strong, and I'm not good in close-range fights. I managed to get far enough away to shoot 'em though..." She takes the food and drink. "Thanks Aloena, I needed this. And thanks for the healing. Of course I'll go with you!" She seems to be a tad more determined than usual, and she wipes away any remaining tears.

[Kris_Roth]

Aloena nods, watching around her surroundings as she helped Robin regain her composure.."It would be wise to stay with us, Robin. We cannot afford to have you end up getting hurt again." She then continues, "If you are ready, Robin, we have a quest here; Headmistress Payne is going with us to locate some wood we need to collect. Perhaps Headmistress Payne can describe the wood we need, and you can help us collect it."

[Haylie]

Scarlet looks annoyed.
"I've already explained it. I don't enjoy repeating myself."

She turns back to Robin and her expression softens.
"You'll need to stick close to me. Summoners aren't ones to let their prey go so easily. No leaving my side unless I give you leave to do so. Understood?" She says this in a commanding tone that somehow manages to sound somewhat friendly.

[Tiffany Grimm]

"Yes ma'am, but... Can we all stay close together?" Robin looks at Aloena and Cletus. "Won't they go after the others too?"

[Haylie]

"Yes, but they are at full strength. I never did much trust spell to do what a good herb can. Just stay close to me."

She stands and turns to the others. "You lot keep your eyes open for anything out of place. If you so much as spot a baby Hobbe, I want to know. Understood?"

(Sorry for the belated response. Fable 2 came out. 'Nuff said)
