On another note, that toy land comic is rather intriguing. Keep up the good work and we'll keep praising you Gecko.

Well, it's the weekend, which means I tend to be busy with social things more often than not. Which means less of a chance to finish artwork! I don't think I'll be able to finish the mystery image today since it's been so painstaking thus far (that and I'm overly tired), so I'm just going to post a headshot (all I've managed to finish shading complete so far!) and leave it at that. Hopefully I'll still have more art for tomorrow. ^_^

Well then. Guess away! It shouldn't be too hard. C'mon! c_c

Definitely demonic, so I was thinking of Akemi but the hair is green, not blue. Is there line art to it? If I'm understanding you correctly it's just the base colors by themself, from the layer?

Nope! Not Akemi. ^_^ I'll give another clue. The person apparently hasn't posted since April? Bluh. And yes, it's just the colors. I'm actually working at subtracting the line art from it, which is what makes it such a painstakingly slow process. Head done, neck-down to go!

I've ditched the ears, and I wouldn't be caught dead in that sort of outfit. o_o;

Nope, not someone from the board. Zack's real sibling has my soul at current. Internet soul too, I figure. My life sort of blends that way. c_c; And I think whatever she doesn't own, Zack owns from all the drinks he's bought me. x_x;

Anyhow! I've been pretty busy all weekend with working on a Frylock costume for the upcoming Anime Expo. In fact, for the majority of July, I'll be cracking down on my Art Portfolio, which means less fan-sketches for all you fun MSF people, and a stronger concentration on my personal storylines/creations/fine art (not CGI).

I guess that means while I'll still be drawing every day, I won't be posting MSF-only art everyday (unless there's something nifty I'd like to respond to). I still have a certain Death lady thing to finish, and maybe a gift art for the person who managed to guess that it was Raijin that I was working on (I love the design of that dragoness!).

Ahem. So anyhow, here's some sketches of what I've been working on. It's sort a combination of entry for the Tokyo Pop "Rising Stars in Manga" contest, and my Art Portfolio that's due, at the latest, by July 31st. 15 pieces needed, 10 to go. Ugh.

Knife Girl was the 'original' title of the short story that I've had on the backburner for the past two years. Now it has a better name. ^^; So if I post not the new random art of board people, Knife Girl will be the reason why. It's like Shoujo (Peach Girl?), but not!
