The pair walked through the empty streets of disused building. It was no wonder that these outcasts had found themselves a haven here, it was a hive similar to a den of rats, even if hostile intruders came, they could put up the fog and hide, or ambush from the gloom.
"Tina" said Absol, breaking the silence, "You should come with me, to my place."
"Your place?" asked Tina, "You mean you managed to settle down somewhere?"
"Yes" said Absol, "It surprised me as well, but I found the place surprisingly calm and relaxing. It gives me space to think, and a roof above my head. And with that child you left me, constant wandering was no longer suitable."
"So you have joined a group of hybrids?" asked Tina
"No, it is a human town I stumbled across. They were being hassled by a group of rouge hybrids, but when I kicked them out, the townspeople asked me to stay." said Absol, "It is a place where both Humans and hybrids are able to live without conflict, as though there were no different. It truly amazed me that such a place could exist."
"I have seen other such places during my visits" said Tina, "but they have been few and far between. This world is a foolish place, and its people are even more so...and it's guardian, even more than that."
