(I always drink and drive. Water, that is. I like to stay hydrated.)

(Also, for convenience's sake, I assume that the lifeboat Bill is setting up and Krystia and Brianna are on are the same.)

Bill manages to keep the lifeboat pretty stable through the rocking and tipping of the sinking ship. "I'm sorry, but if your parents haven't gotten out of their cabin, I don't think they will ever." Hilda gives him a scolding look. "Don't say that. They have a chance, they have to. Let the girl have some hope." The look on her face shows she doesn't even believe herself. Bill ties a rope off to the small boat. "Flares won't work. I saw one go off from the bridge, standard distress signal. Took two seconds for it to get lost in this black fog or whatever it is."

(nice. did I tell you I'm a fan of ranged combat? well, now I did.)
The arrow goes straight through the watery tentacle, but it reacts by jolting up and tossing the goat woman far enough to clear the side of the ship and splash into the water. It retracts into the water, leaving the creature completely submerged. Whether this is a good or bad thing has yet to be determined.

While keeping pace with Matt, the serving girl grabs a life preserver and loops it around her shoulder. "Just in case..."

Nick should see a woman in ill fitting clothes with a bow and arrow, a girl with a bushy tail and pointy ears leading a much larger, shining and menacing woman.

Kimiko grabs on to her bushy tail and hugs it to her chest. "I'm as okay as I can be, why?"

The bartender squeaks and turns to follow Mike. "I just don't want to go alone, not like this. Believe it or not, I've always been a modest person. This isn't easy for me." If Mike had eyes on the back of his head, he'd notice her gaze slowly going down to his butt, then going quickly back up to the back of his head. "Where are you going anyways? The lifeboats are the other way."

The ship gives a lurch. Then a sound that can only be described as a fart bubble, only much, much bigger comes from somewhere under the boat. Water starts to gush out from vents on the deck.

As Matt climbed the ship, he could hear as the monster sumbmerged itself. That would normally be a good thing, but Matt knew it could probably surface again. This only worsend the situation, now the monster could come out of anywhere and attack anywhere. Water started to pour out of everywhere and it was harder to keep a firm foot. Matt also took a life preserver that hung in the wall. "I think we're gonna have to jump." he said the servering girl as he looked at the water below always keeping a firm grip on her hand.
"Let me confirm, your shelter shield is activated?"
"What are you planning?!"
"Your shelter is secure, is it?"
"Of course it is! Just see for yourself how powerless you are!"
"...Roger that."

"I just got a really bad feeling." She's still looking up at the monster. "Get to the lifeboats." She lets go of Kimiko.

Mike smiled as she followed, in his mind he could almost see her admiring his physique. Perhaps it was just wishful thinking, but for some reason it felt like he knew vaguely if not precisely what she was thinking. "I'm sure you've been a modest person." he says in a manner that would be reassuring if it didn't have that scarce undertone of sarcasm to it. Mike looks around, "If you're following me, grab a few candles from the dining area that haven't fallen off yet. Bring them along." he said as he looked around for somewhere important looking. The vents were gushing water...so that probably wouldn't be effective for his motives..."Where oh where has my fun gone?" he mumbles as he searches for anywhere that could fit a crate this size that could also be tied to some structurally integrated section of the ship...or something like that.

A slight doubt in the back of his mind wonders if the little lights changed him. He felt completely normal...just...calm and a little motivated. But that's all. The question 'why wasn't I changed' kept running through his head over and over as he continued to do what he was doing.

*Tears come to Brianna's eyes.* "Wh-what my parents may never see me again. I'm an orphan? Waahhhhhh! Wahhhh!" Brianna says as she grabs a hold of Krystia and begins to cry on her shoulder while hugging her. She knows she used to be male, but she just can't seem to stop crying when she realizes that fact.

(Sorry for using more than one of my accounts. It was an accident.)

Geeze...were all these people changed like I was. Nick wondered. And will we even be able to get away from this monster?

The serving girls nods. "I'm ready when you are."

The goat woman surfaces and gasps for air. "What a killjoy! Just when things were getting good!"

Kimiko's ears jump up in concern. "But how will you get around? You can't see!"

Mike's search shows one promising lead. One of the large candy-cane shaped exhaust ports is still dry as a bone, compared to the rest of the ship. The bartender grabs a stick lighter from what looks used to be a grill. "Will this do?"

While the electric girl is still out of it, Hikaru should be waking up any time now...

Hilda rubs the crying girl's back in an effort to comfort her. "It's going to be all right. We're going to get away from that thing and we're going to be safe. I even have some better fitting clothes for you once we're out of here. Would you like that?"

Out of the corner of her eye, Nick might just be able to see a guy holding a box of something and a very naked and greenish woman following him.

Matt climbed over the rails and staired down at the water below. "OK, let's do this!" Matt said as he jumped overboard never letting go of the girl, but the brunt of the fall loosed his grasp. Thanks to the life preserver Matt suddenly shot above the water. Now free floating in the sea, he desperatly seached for the Serving girl. He was more annoyed at the fact that he could call out to her, if he knew her name.

*Looks up at Hilda from Krystia's shoulder.* "Nya these clothes are a bit baggie. Nya. Thank you Miss Hilda." Brianna said as she hugged her.

A green woman...I wish I could say that's the weirdest thing I've seen today. Nick thinks.

"I-I know, but I've got hands and ears still. And... there's something else... I can't quite put my finger on it, but... something's directing me..." She shakes her head, causing her long blond hair to flail about. "It doesn't matter. Just leave. I'll be fine."
She then turns to face the monster.
