Quantum of Solace

So, I went and saw this movie on opening night, and I enjoyed it a lot. Lots of action, LOTS of explosions, but it seemed short for a Bond movie (because it was), but I think it does a good job of setting up for the up coming trials for James Bond and MI6.

For reference purposes, I felt Casino Royale is better than Quantum of Solace overall, with Casino Royale being possibly my favorite Bond movie to date, over even the old Sean Connery movies. Really, Daniel Craig pulls Bond off so well and really submerses himself into the character.

The interactions between Bond and M were really neat in this movie as well, and the relationship between the pair has been fleshed out considerably more in this movie for sure.

I can't think of anything else to say about the movie for now, seeing as how I've barely slept since yesterday and I had a quiz Friday morning. Yeah. XD

It came out in the uk two weeks ago. I liked it but I was a bit disappointed in the villian. Normally I enjoy bond villians because they have space stations and laser beams not because they are exploiting the environment. It just seemed so un-Bond like.

Did you notice the blatant reference to Goldfinger with how the Fields was killed? I thought that was very villain like for a Bond villain if you ask me. Also I like the... unhinged factor of Greene. He was scary in a neat way, and you could tell how manipulative given the way he convinced Medrano to accept the deal with Quantum. I just loved the way that big guy squirmed with the way Greene talked, I honestly did. That and when Greene was attacking Bond with that axe like a crazy person was awesome as well.

it was a good movie, though the end was a bit meh for my tastes it's nice that there making these a series, instead of stand alone like usual but the end for this one was very abrupt and made you want them to clarify things more.

overall though it's a good movie worth watching.

Q is still my favorite character. And Goldeneye being my favorite film. \
