Maddie Blaustein, age 48, passes away

I was surfing the anime news network, and I saw an article that Maddie Blaustein, the voice actor for Meowth on Pokemon, and Solomon Mouto (Yugi's grandpa), among others, has passed away at the age of 48. She also provided voices in Sonic X and in Dinosaur King.

She did male voices? Huh. Welp, if there's anything after this life, I wish her the best.

A google search says she was a MtF transexual, formerly known as Adam Blaustein. Her voice credits included Chef Kowasaki on Kirby: Right Back at Ya! and Helga the robot housekeeper on Dinosaur King. I wonder how they are going to handle the Voices foe the characters on these shows.

They rebroadcast an episode of "Dinosaur King", called "Carnival of Chaos." Maddie Blaustein voiced Helga, Dr Z's Robotic housekeeper.

Max Taylor, the main protagonist, is voiced by Veronica Taylor (Ash Kethcum from Pokemon's voice actor), and Rachael Lillis voiced Ursula using Jessie of Pokemon's voice, and Laura (Dr. Z's granddaughter) had Misty's voice, Rachael's voice also was lend to Reece Drake, the D-team's research scientist. She upgraded the Dino-holders to allow the D-Team (Max, Rex, and Zoe) to use the right cards for their dinosaurs, respectively, a Triceratops for Max, a Carnotaurus for Rex, and Zoe's dino partner is a Parasouroluphus (a crested herbivore).

They have a running gag on the show; Ursula gets mad when when Zoe calls her an "old lady," Dr. Z's alpha controllers blow up, and in this episode, Zander, Ed, and Ursula ride a rocket back to their mobile base (Looks like the Alpha Gang is blasting off again!), Zeta Point, after they take over an abandoned amusement park and transform it into Dinosaur Land to raise money to get food for the dinosaurs they used to operate the rides. Dr. Spike Taylor met his wife Aki there, and it was their anniversary that day.
