Dead Space: Downfall

If you guys watch Sci Fi channel last night you saw an epic animate film. This is the prequel to the Dead Space Video game in which you find a ship that has it's crew missing or dead, and a group of deadly creatures that have taken over. And the cause of it all is a mysterious artifact. This film shows what happened to the crew, and there fight to survive.

Just watched it. I played the game previously, so I knew what was going to happen, but I still enjoyed seeing just how the artistic direction of the animators went with it. I also loved the fact that it was just as bloody, gory and disgustingly disturbed as the game.

Also highly recommended is the Dead Space animated comic. It detail what went wrong with the colony before the planet crack. Kind of a prequel to the prequel. Not as gory, but it had much more suspense and a wonderful ending. A big bonus is you can find it for free on youtube.

They also host the comic on Gametrailers too. I think the last few were offered in HD.
