[FFRP] Kidaroc Myths: A Fighting Chance

"Come on!" shouted Surge as he called for Shawn's help to lift the contraption. He mustered all his strength to move it.

[Knight Errant]

"... your not the person I found that night I messed with the radio, are you?"

[AshK]

"Take this you disrespectful bunch! I risked my life to protect all of your kind and you repay me by attacking people that are different? Take this!" Alana says as she fires her rifle at the line of girls.

'I really hope that I can stay here and don't get taken back to the hellhole.' Alana thinks as she continues to fire dodging the blasts the best she could. She continues to fire.

Surge and Shawn (unless Shawn's being a jerk lol) heave the box and its contents from the armory toward the front of the base (yes?). As they're passing, Surge might get a glance into any of the rooms with opened doors to see all the happy-go-lucky sights everyone else had seen so far.

The man snapped his fingers, "That's where I know you! Yes. I'm the guy on the radio that night. I came here because it's been a particularly talked about coordinate in radio chat and from the looks of it whatever was supposed to happen already did."

Alana's battle raging cries hoisted the hybrids morale to new levels. Their bullets ripped into the cloud of girls, with only a few retributive bullets making their way to the defensive line. As Alana finished shouting the hybrids rallied all at once. "CHHAAARRGGE!!!!" one cried and the whole defensive line got up from kneeling and jumped into the group of girls.

[Zoey]

Surge leaves the machine and looks back into the base before turning his sights back on Shawn. "I think we should regroup and see what info we've gathered"

Alana follows the charge while firing she manages to aim straight for the regular girls and avoids hitting the Hybrids.

Alana continues to fire.

[Knight Errant]

"Wait... someone KNEW this was going to happen? Who?!"

"Do you have any idea what the hell it is like in there?!"

[Brnin8r]

Does Surge leave the box to get to the group?

The man nodded, "This was something that was apparently predicted after a report from the girls outpost...something about one of the girls killing themselves to infect 'the host'." he made finger quotes in the air to illustrate "And no, I'm not aware of what's in here...but from your expressions I can't say I want to find out."

Alana's guns didn't do as much damage as the hybrids were doing. They had all brought out their melee weapons; hand claws, dirks, daggers, and some used their claws to slice into the girls army. For every one hybrid that fell it seemed that five girls had already hit the ground.

[Zoey]

((Well yeah it's not like someone will jump from nowhere and steal it... right?))

[AshK]

"Oh great. I can't believe that those Hybrids are doing all the damage. I will still help them fight." Alana said as she continued to fire the gun.

[Knight Errant]

"So... it was the girls..." He couldnt believe it... how could they do this...

Surge and Shawn make it back to the door to the base to see Julian talking to a mysterious guy.

Gary nodded, "Yes, apparently. I'm not sure why they did it...but they seemed relatively hellbent on getting this particular location taken care of."

The raid was over as soon as it began. Before Alana knew it was over, all the hybrids were standing on the fallen girls.

[AshK]

"Oh great. It's over and I didn't do much. I am so embarassed." Alana said as she blushed in embarrassment.

[Knight Errant]

Dully. "I guess we were just... lucky we were away when this happened."

He had always thought the girls were just... well... it all was a mistake. He fought because there was no stopping to argue... but this...

This wasnt transformation... this was murder... of a horrific kind. It made them no better than the hybrids.

Surge tries to cautiously evesdrop on the conversation.
