The figure, as it bound from car to car, was unimpeded by Jack's efforts for a good time. But just as the dramatic action was at its climax (the figure jumping from the last car to tackle Jack that is) it fell limp in the air and crashed to the floor in a heap of body and leaking blood. But that was all the time it needed. Jack might have noticed that from every car that had started up, another figure would stand. They all stared at Jack and pointed their finger at him and began to moan. Soon the loud bustling traffic jam sounded more like a haunted house.
The computer tries its damndest to start up, as if the hamsters inside hadn't run in their wheels for some time. The machine sputtered to life and the massive monitor lit up to show the Windows 95 startup screen. Once finished, the desktop displayed a few random shortcuts: Logs, Employee records, Shipping lists, etc
