Well, that and Sidereals, Abyssals, Fair Folk, Dragon Kings, and tissue paper- er, I mean mortals.
Wait, you mean books. Yeah, those aren't out yet.
But just so people know what we're talking about:
Exalted are humans who have been empowered through various shards that bring out their strengths and magnify them a hundred times over, making them the champions of humanity/the gods/the land of the dead/the demons, and ideal tools for reshaping the world. This is being vague, but basically, in the past, the Exalted were created to overthrow the super gods that created the world, and allow the gods to ascend to heaven and take over managing the world. They succeeded, and some of the dying super gods cursed the Exalted to become insane with time, while the other super gods were mutilated and split up, creating demons. Since then, the Exalted created an incredible First Age of Humanity that was awesome. And then became crazy. So the lowest of the Exalted rose up and overthrew the greatest of the Exalts, and sealed most of them away. Since then, the world has had calamity after calamity, and has fallen to rather dire times as hordes of undead, chaos, demons, and robots are readying themselves to invade, take over, or blow everything up. But fortunately, those defeated Exalts have been set free again to influence humanity- either to bring it back to the glory of the first age... or tear everything down. It's up to the players/characters entirely, which is what makes the game so much for me anyways. There is literally nothing you can't do.
Anyways, the various Exalts:
Solar Exalted - Holy/Glorious Demi God Kings, there's only about 150 of them. They trounce gods fairly easily though. Most Exalted do, actually. Regardless, they're capable of anything they set themselves to. And have had the tendency to go insane. (first bunch I mentioned in my previous post)
Dragon Blooded/Terrestrial Exalted - The most numerous among the Exalted (numbering in the tens of thousands), able to pass on their power genetically. Due to being more numerous, their powers as individuals are lesser, but their control over the elements is the best, and they work great in teams. (second bunch I mentioned)
Lunar Exalted: Masters of shapeshifting and intimately tied to chaos and protecting the world against it (they number 300). They are among the best warriors, period. But they aren't savage despite them denouncing the society of the world- they intend to help make a more sufficient human race, and have had numerous social experiments to strengthen humanity.
Sidereal Exalts - Originally the advisers of the Exalted, these 100 individuals hold control over fate itself, and generally stick to the shadows. They've helped guide creation for literally thousands of years... and helped off the Solars a while back as well. They also wield the most advanced supernatural/esoteric martial arts. Martial arts, by the way, can do almost anything in Exalted. Anything.
Abyssal Exalted - The dark mirrors created from 100 captured solar shards. They seek to end the world and bring it to complete and utter destruction. Their very essence makes them a true anathema of the world, and being of equivalent 'power' to the Solars means that this is entirely possible.
Infernal Exalted - Twisted abominations made from 50 captured solar shards, the demons/yozis have reshaped their essence into new tools to help the yozis escape from their prison and retake creation. And probably punish all those in their way. A book hasn't been released for them yet.
Alchemical Exalted - the champions of a machine-god being that's left creation and they've been responsible for maintaining said machine god as it's floated about in elsewhere. I don't know so much about these guys, but a book for them haven't been released for the latest edition yet, and they weren't around in the first age. I think.
