"So you're suggesting that someone lived here all alone?" David inquired into Nathaniel's theory. How did he come to that conclusion? There wasn't any evidence to support that theory, so where did it come from? Devin apparently noticed this as well, as he was watching Nathaniel carefully.

Allison, deciding to break the mood, came up with a suggestion. "Well, this room is big enough for us all to sit down and rest for a few minutes without it being too overcrowded, so why don't we do that?"

Nathaniel began to hear the voices again. "So you'll be my friend? I haven't head a female friend before, so could you be one of those? It'd be interesting, don't you think? It's a good idea, wouldn't you like to try it? You could be sexy, powerful, and you would certainly be more popular with the boys than that other girl in your group. What do you think?"

[Nosnits]

Ross mentaly agrees with Allison. He sits down about 6 feet away from the walls, just in case ghosts started to come out of them. He then does the one thing that calms him down in most situations, listining to classical music in his head.

[Florina]

I'm afraid I'm not a woman, Nathaniel thought to himself, hoping the spirit could hear him. As lucrative as your deal sounds, it's simply not possible... And I don't like men - not that way, anyways. His face scrunched up as he attempted to thought-speak with whatever it was that was communicating with him, he climbs one of the stairwells. "I'm going to see what's up here," he calls down to the others. "I won't go out of sight."

[Rena]

"You're being spoken to telepathically and you doubt my possible other talents? Just think of it, think of the attention you'd receive, and we could all be friends together! Then I wouldn't be lonely, I wouldn't be stuck in this mansion longing for company for the rest of eternity. Please, I can tell that deep down you really want to accept my offer, don't you?"

David had an uneasy feeling from Nathaniel leaving the group, even though they could still see him. It was like he wasn't telling them something. Allison, on the other hand, seemed to be oblivious. "This is such an adventure! But are you okay, David? I know you're allergic to dust, and well..."

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's not going to kill me." He replied.

"No, but I will!" A face encased in light jumped out in front of David, startling him and knocking him off his seat onto the ground. The light went out, and it became clear that Devin had just been shining a light on his face. "Aha! Sorry, I just couldn't resist!"

"Jerk... where'd you get a flashlight?" David murmured as he stood up, dusting himself off. "Don't tell me you had it on you all along?"

"Yup."

"And you didn't think to get it out when we got here?"

"Nope."

David sighed.

'Dammit, why does it have to be these songs' Ross thinks to himself. Apperenty, the only songs he can think of are Bach's organ masterpeices. He stands up. "I'm rewriting my analogy of this place." He says outloud "This is more like the vampire Bugs Bunny cartoon than Scooby-Doo"

[Florina]

I... I don't know... He was completely oblivious to his friends down below now, lost within the confines of his own mind. I've always wanted to get away from my life and get a new start... But I don't know if I would want to be a... A woman... He sighs, almost inaudible over the din of the rain and the thunder. I mean... Sexy... Powerful... Those aren't words that could ever be used to describe me. I just want a different life, a new chance...

[Rena]

"I really don't think using cartoons in an analogy for this mansion is really the best idea." Devin said to Ross as he demonstrated a scale with his arms. "The weight of our situation is a little bit heavier than if it was a fictional story.

"But I can give you a new life, I can give you that chance." The origin of the voice knew, she had pretty much hooked her first pawn. "There's a condition, though. In exchange for your fresh start, I'd like you to help me convince your friends to join me through whatever means necessary... I mean, don't they all deserve to have their wishes come true as well?"

[Florina]

Most everyone deserves that, Nathaniel muses. That's a pretty small price to pay for what you're offering... But do I have to be a girl? It seems so... Unnatural... Though I guess it couldn't be too different... I don't know... I can't decide this kind of thing for myself. A tear rolls down the boy's cheek - very unusual for someone like Nathaniel. It was quite obvious that he was pretty much in a wreck at the moment, and indeed he was. I mean, it's not something that just happens, random gender change.

[Nosnits]

"Here's a better idea then. Lets all curle up into little balls and moan about how terrible this place is." He says sarcastically to Devin, pacing back and forth.

[Rena]

"I'm glad we all get along so well." Allison sighed as she sat down after dusting off the chair, and crossed her legs. "Sarcasm and bickering isn't going to help our situation, so why don't we all focus on being positive!"


"Don't worry, thanks to my powers, you won't even really notice a difference. You want to start a new life, don't you? I'm sure your friends all want the same deep down, even though they won't admit it! If you won't do it for yourself, at least do it for them! Since I only can communicate with you for now, it needs to be you who takes the plunge first! Think of all you could do with a clean slate!"

"Oi! Anything up there?!" David called up to Nathaniel. He had been watching him ever since he left, and his behavior was odd, to save the least. He was taking too long.

[Evra]

as evra looks up from examining a suit of armor noticing the others had left somewere he looks around and sighs hating to be alone as he mumbles walking down the hall

Ross sighs. "Sorry, I tend to get a little testy when I get nervous." He says to Allison and Devin. He continues to pace back and forth.

[Florina]

Very well... Do it... Nathaniel braced himself as if expecting some massive, earth-shattering event to occur.Just get it over with... I want a new life. I want to do what I want, not what others want for me. If a pair of breasts and longer hair will do that for me... Then I suppose it's worth it.

[Jacqueline]

Instead of sitting down, Jace begins to walk around the large ballroom. As he walks, he tries to keep his eyes on Nathaniel, who headed up the stairs by himself. He's worried about the boy.
"This building is pretty fancy," he says out loud, "if it were a little cleaner, it would be great for a party!"
