Fantasy Meets Reality (RP)

"Ah! We can't use a boat made of wood! That'd mean cute little plants were hurt..." Momo added her two cents. She had found she was becoming more and more fascinated with plant life, although all of the voices from the blades of grass were really annoying, talking about looking up skirts and such.

"I don't agree with using a boat either." Sanaki said rationally. "But it's probably the only way to get there."

[Maiden Miki]

MIke followed the group but before she went out with them Mike went up to the room and grabbed a bag and some different clothing that looked like stuff Nami would wear. Mike had no idea where this urge came from but she had the feeling that she would want to take some clothes with her. Mike then place the dials and her plans for the Perfect ClimaTact into the bag and followed.

MIke followed the Kratos person and looked at the location where they were out. Mike then said, "Is this where you wanted to take us?" She then wipped some sweat from her forehead and said, "You could have at least drove us here or something." Mike then began to feel a bit upset and echo what somebody else said, "Yeah, what makes you think the this dude hasn't moved to another location. If he is as smart as you say he is then maybe he already knows about you wanting to take us there."

Mike then looked around and said, "I don't mind taking a boat over there. I mean if we sail in a northwestern direction from the Panama Canal and follow the wind currents then we should be there in no time at all." MIke then forze and relized that that would be something that Nami would say. Mike knew he had no knowledge in navigation and wind patterns. She then froze and began to shake. "Oh my gosh."

(Do'h! One thing is for sure, at least only about two or three pages added since I logged off last night. Curse that Pokemon Platinum for me being left behind in RP's! Platinum is fun though! It's addicting I will tell you that much.)

"What were those words again. Oh yeah I remember Nya! Mew Mew Strawberry Metamorpho-Sis!" Ichigo said as she transformed into Mew Ichigo once again. "Nya! wait for me!" Mew Ichigo says rushing upto the others. "So Nya where are we going Nya!" Do'h! Like why do I keep saying Nya!" Mew Ichigo says as she clutches her head.

(Someone want to alter her mind a bit so her head doesn't hurt as badly?)

((Since I haven't even done a transformation for anyone, yet, I doubt I'd be helpful in that department. Sorry. Plus, not completely awake to even think about it right now.))

Not knowing any way that she can really contribute to the group at the moment, Orihime just looks around in the field that they are in, taking in the scenery.

"Conversely," Rita said, "If we were to sail to Europe or Africa from here and go the rest of the way by land... At least we'd be in a bit more control of our bearing."

"It's completely up to you all, but either way we'll have to reach the coast," Kratos added. "And to do that, we need to go east... Assuming there are no objections, I think it best we begin before-Oh, bugger."

Apparently, real-world-creatures-turned-RPG-random-encounters had just as sick a sense of humor as their virtual counterparts... For sudenly there stood before them twelve of what appeared to be none other than your common garden-variety Kobolds. About the size of a common garden gnome, these reptilian beasts had scaly hides, naked, ratlike tails, and a small head with two ridges of horns running down the skull and onto the elongated snout, much like that of a small crocodile. The universal "cannon fodder" in fantasy settings, Kobolds were prone to reckless charges against nobody in particular, and were even more prone to being brutally murdered by aspiring adventurers seeking low-level glory in nearly every game system that included them.

The beasts wove crude spears (which were really just sharp rocks tied to tree branches) above their heads, yelling in some gibberish language. "Before this happens," Kratos finished dejectedly. "Ah, well... I suppose it could have been worse. They are Kobolds, after all. Go ahead, try out your new powers... See what happens."

[Queen Octavia]

"I really, really hope that none of them are Pun-Pun." Tony mumbles before drawing an arrow.

"Wait... maybe they are simply hapless victims, like we are." I realize. "Maybe they can't even speak normally anymore. We mean you no harm!" I say loudly, but not menacingly. "Put down your weapons!" I slowly bend at the waist and put my bow on the ground. I really hope they do the same, but hey if not I figure I can still take them unarmed.

[Zoei]

"I really, really hope that none of them are Pun-Pun." Tony mumbles before drawing an arrow.

"..She has a point.. he might have optimized I mean is your associate the kind of jerk who'd spring a God Like Kobald one someone?"

"Wait... maybe they are simply hapless victims, like we are." I realize. "Maybe they can't even speak normally anymore. We mean you no harm!" I say loudly, but not menacingly. "Put down your weapons!" I slowly bend at the waist and put my bow on the ground. I really hope they do the same, but hey if not I figure I can still take them unarmed.[/quote]

*Ignoring the pain for the moment knowing that she has to fight along with her friends summons her weapon.* "Strawberry Bell! Like why does the name of my weapon have to be so stupid oh well. I cannot do anything about it, but should I like really attack? Nya." Mew Ichigo asks.

"Please don't attack us. We mean you no harm whatsoever." Mew Ichigo says as her Strawberry Bell disappears.

[Hira Kanaki]

"I say we should probably find the best tactic to actually take this thing on if the whole peace thing backfires." Sailor Mercury said.

*Mew Ichigo nods in agreement with Sailor Mercury.*

(Hira would you like to handle some mental changes for Mew Ichigo? Just wondering.)

"It's better to try to avoid needless fighting as much as posible" says Nova/Zelda seemly unafraid of the monsters dispite the lack of weaponry.

[Mystic Mina]

"Whoa. That doesn't look good." Liam whispered to himself when he spotted the mob of monsters advancing towards the strange group of costumed weirdos. He considered leaving right then and there to avoid getting himself into unwanted trouble, but then he saw the cute pink-haired, devil-tailed girl standing in the back of the cosplayers. It'd be a shame to let such an innocent-looking girl get her face scratched up by those reptilian freaks. "Looks like it's hero time.... God, that line sounds lame. I need to improve on that later."

Liam revved up his bike, then rocketed towards the Kobolds, intent on ramming at least one or two of them with his bike before they react to his attack. Hopefully, those things are as dumb as they look!

"Hmm, this works. I've been meaning to test out Cymbeline anyways." Sanaki said as she readied her tome, the spell Cymbeline dwelling within. She had been practicing, so she hoped she did it right. She raised her hands into the air for a moment, before throwing her right hand to the side. Her hand began to glow, only for a minute before she did a frontflip and throwing her hands down. As she did this, the sky began to darken over a small group of the kobloids as a ball of fire formed over top of them, suddenly dropping an frying them. The Empress watched, unimpressed. "I must be making a mistake... the ball of fire is way too small..."

"Hey, don't! You'll get hurt!" Momo exclaimed as she saw Liam fly by on a bike. In a panic, she flipped over a small black cellphone that she had found on her costume, and began to dial numbers almost instinctively. In turn, a giant tree erupted from the ground by some kobloids, an angry, hungry face present on the trunk as it wrapped it's roots around a few of the kobloids, strangling them. "Whoopsie, seems to someone summoned a Shibarisuki tree from the planet Okiwana by mistake! ♥" She wasn't sure how she had done it, but she knew the number, so there were no room for complaints.

((NOTE: The Cymbeline video was overdramatized. XD))

"I suppose this means negotiating is out of the question," Rita yelped, struggling to dodge the spears that were now flying from the remaining kobolds. To make matters worse, more of them approached the group, making the group total to at least thirty. She yelped as one poked her in the rear with a sharp stick, spinning on her heel with a murderous look in her eye. "Oh, that is IT! I'm gonna make you HURT!" In a flash, she had drawn her own spellbook and was frantically flipping through pages. "Oh, flickering blaze, burn..." A red aura began to swirl around the young mage as three smoldering balls of flame began to form above her head. "Fireball!" The flaming spheres shot out at rapid speed, colliding with three of the reptilian beasts and sending them reeling. "Three down... And I don't think these things are human."

"They're not," Kratos agreed as he indicated the corpses of the singed kobolds. They had begun to lose their reptilian shape, returning to their original form... Lab rats. "The Dictator's a sick man. He set these out for his enjoyment."
