The voice through the speakers sighed. "Lying to you would compromise the experiment." The speaker sounds as if is he making a desperate attempt at speaking as plainly as possibly. "You will not be harmed. In a worst case scenario, you will be returned to your old and, ugh... male selves after it is over."

"What do you have against Males? You aren't trying to hit on us are you?" The foxgirl says quite angrily.

[TKC]

Amanda's eyes went a little wide at the last comment from the voice, "B... But... I wasn't a guy before," she said a little loudly, starting to feel a bit nervous.

[Maiden Miki]

Micheal heard that and thought about it for a minute. SHe then blinked a few times and whisper in a soft voice, "So you don't really have plans to return us back to normal?"

[Zoey]

"Wait a sec! What do you mean in the worst case scenario?!" shouts Kevin pointing angrly at the speaker.

[Nosnits]

"Well, the best case senario for him is that we all become his privet brothel." She says to Kevin, then turns to the speaker. "What kind of information do we have to collect for you?" She asks ina bitter tone.

[Rodney]

Marcus isn't sure she should trust the voice, a lifetime of videogames taught her otherwise :
' As a sign of good will and to prove that you are not lying, could we have some cake first, mister demented voice in the speaker ? '

"Wait a sec! What do you mean in the worst case scenario?!" shouts Kevin pointing angrly at the speaker.

"The worse case scenario is we refuse to participate and he has to change us back and return us to our families. Also, just out of curiousity Mr Voice, if that IS your real name, what exactly did my family think about me being abducted against my will and be subjected to perverse experiments? Really though, I'd like to know."

Galad hardly believes their families were informed, at least certainly not of the truth. The cops would be cracking down on the lunatic if that were the case.

"I have got to agree with her. What did our families think about us disappearing all of a sudden?" The Foxgirl asks.

"No, wait... you people..." The voice heaves a desperate sigh. "After the experiment is over, you will all have the choice to remain as you are or go back to who you were, male or female. Your families have been told you are participating in an important experiment, and will not worry."

The scientist clears his throat. "Such is the situation, so you need not worry. All I request of you is to live your lives as normally as you can for a while. I am sorry to impose on you, but it is for the good of mankind. You have my solemn word that no harm will come to you.
"I will request the cake from my assistant, as I am a terrible cook myself. With some luck, we may share some later today."

There is a soft click, and the voice from the speaker is silent once more.

"Well... that was interesting..." Jace says with a smile, playing with the end of her tail. "I can't tell if he's trying to be nice, or confuse us into submission."

*Looks over to Jace.* "Why must they insist on confusing us?" The Foxgirl asks.

"I don't think he's trying to confuse us," Amanda says softly from the beanbag chair she's sitting in, "Like he said, why would he need to lie to us?.."

Mike just listen to the man and wonder if he could be trusted. Some how he was able to take them from their lives and transform them into what they are right now. Mike just shurgged and said in a soft voice, "Still I wonder how long have we been here. Days? Hours? Weeks? I wonder what others are thinking about us being missing."

[Marky]

Mark looks up at toward the speakers in confusion. "Alright. Now I'm just really confused...should we think about trusting them, or not?"

[Zoey]

"Well he did say we would be 'safe' and we can change back after the expirement is over... I say we have just play along and see if he really means it" says Kevin as she points to the speaker.
