Sunset city ~the roleplay~

rein mumbles getting into the car and starting it ready to drive off

[Sasha]

Sora still relaxing in her room.

[Haylie]

They finally arrive at the top floor and the elevator door opens. Katy steps into the room, a living room with a big-screen plasma TV mounted onto the wall to the left across from a black love seat with both a TV remote and an Xbox 360 controller. The carpet is a grey color. All the windows have been covered up with black paper.

"Welcome to the inner sanctum. Go ahead into my room, it's that room over there."

She points to a black door with a picture bat on it.

Jackie pauses for a moment, wondering if she should really go inside, before solemnly nodding and heading inside, lost in thought.

[Haylie]

Several things greet Jackie's eyes that could possibly shake her out of her thoughts:

1. Instead of a bed, there's a large black coffin laying open on the floor where a bed would normally be. The inside is lined with red silk.

2. There's a refrigerator against the wall. While not alarming by itself, the fact that there's a note stuck to it with a spiky magnet that says, "Note to self: Visit blood bank," is rather spooky.

3. There's several empty blood packs in a trash can next to the coffin.

Other than that, it's a fairly normal room: Bathroom across from the door Jackie's at now, another TV across from the coffin, a bookcase against the wall next to the fridge.

[Marky]

Jackie's eyes are wide as she looks around the room, her gaze going back to the coffin, staying on it. "Don't tell me I'm going to have to sleep in something like...that..."

[Haylie]

Katy seems to materialize behind Jackie.

"'Fraid so, kiddo. Gotta have something to block out that sunlight. That stuff's poisonous, y'know."

She appears to be speaking from experience. Maybe some questions are in order...?

[Marky]

"O-oh, yeah..." Jackie says, remembering about the vulnerability to sunlight. "So, umm...how long have you been a vampire?"

[Haylie]

Katy pushes past Jackie into the room and adjusts the red silk pillow in the coffin. "Ehh, lost count at around 200 years. Never was good at math, even back then. Then again, the way girls were treated those days, it's a wonder we learned anything."

She goes to the fridge and takes out two blood packs. She sips through the straw of one and offers the other to Jackie.

[Marky]

Jackie just stares at the blood pack, unsure of whether or not she should be disgusted...or hungry.

[Haylie]

The sight of blood would make a normal person uneasy at the least, but for a vampire... it's just another snack. Jackie might see it this way now, especially since she hasn't "eaten" yet.

Katy cocks an eyebrow at Jackie's hesitation.

[Marky]

Feeling the hunger, Jackie eventually takes the packet of blood. I...can't believe I'm about to do this...

She starts to sip through the straw.

[Tala]

Ryou taps the hood of the car and it dies. "I can't let you go."

[Evra]

rein sits there confused as the car dies as he hears what the one says he mumbles "and why not?"

[Haylie]

Katy's small mouth twists into a smile as she continues drinking.

The blood tastes remarkable. So invigorating, refreshing, reviving... There's gotta be more. Doesn't matter where, or when, or how, there must be more.
