rein blinks feeling different "w-whats happening"

[Marky]

All too quickly, Katy stands again and starts heading out of the apartment. "C'mon, new blood. I think it's time I taught you the noble art."

She doesn't clarify.

Jackie quickly follows after her, a look of confusion on her face. "Noble...art?"

[Tala]

his hair turns silver. "You are turning."

[Haylie]

Katy makes a show of sighing dramatically and rolling her eyes. "I'm gonna have to explain everything to you, aren't I...?" Another sigh. "I mean the hunt. Finding prey? Y'know, so you can stay alive? Or at least as alive as vampires get?"

The condescention is almost tangible.

[Evra]

t-turning? turning into what?" rein says scared

[Tala]

his face become feminine. "Into a vampire."

[Evra]

rein blinks "b-but whys my body changing?"

[Tala]

"Because." His hair grows out and has a red streak in it.

[Evra]

"b-but with my hair" rein says seeing it get longer and form a red streak in it

[Tala]

His skin turns a pale white and his eyes turn a deep blood red. Ryou grins.

[Marky]

Jackie just nods in understanding, feeling it best not to say much else.

[Evra]

rein stands nervously looking at his skin as it becomes pale white

[Haylie]

"Well, I'm gonna show you that in a bit. We'll have a demonstration, then a practice run. Got it?"

[Marky]

Jackie nods. "Got it."

[Haylie]

"We'll have to do it in a while, though, 'cuz there's some things I gotta do." With that, she disappears into another room. A soft *clink* indicates a locked door.

After a moment, an urge comes into Jackie. It's strange, very much like an adrenaline rush, but it focuses the senses. She can clearly smell the blood sitting in the fridge. She can hear a spider crawling in between the floorboards. She can see a small cobweb across the room in the top corner. A tingling sensation comes over her fingers.

But more than any of these, more so that they become almost trivial, is the sudden urge to get out. Just to get up and go somewhere. Anywhere with people...
