[FFRP] The RP Nexus

[Nosnits]

"........I.................sang.........." Nora admits, voice almost a whisper, hiding under her blankets.

[Ookalf]

Naru rolls her eyes. "Is anyone going to tell me anything around here? It's like some sort of conspiracy to keep me in the dark."

I shall tell you more once I have finished breaking my fast.

[muffinstud]

Naru nods at Sakura. "You sang. Were there other people there that heard it? How well did you sing? Am I looking at the next Beyonce Knowles?"

[Nosnits]

"I sang in front of the whole god damned party that we went to yesterday, almost everyone in the whole damn city!" Nora says, obviously ticked off. "I don't give a damn how well I did, and almost fainted on the damn stage, but it was good enough to win this damned house!"

[muffinstud]

Naru raises an eyebrow. "Damn, girl."
[couldn't resist...]

[Nosnits]

"...Damn girl, what the hell do you mean by that!" Nora says, almost yelling.

[muffinstud]

Naru shrugs. "Just sayin' you've got a bit of an attitude this morning. You can be mad at me for trying to find out what you did, but you don't have to act so pissy about it."

[Nosnits]

The blankets fall of of Nora, and she looks...angry. Her lips are pressed though when not talking, and she seems to be...wincing a bit. "...I invite you into my house, invite you to LIVE here, and the first thing you do is to pry into things I DON'T want to talk about. Thank you very much, Naru!" Nora says.

[muffinstud]

"Okay, I'm sorry. Geez! Just rip my head of for wanting to know how you're adjusting and all. It's not like I have experience that can help you with whatever it is you're going through, but is far to personal to share." Naru leaves the counter and starts making some toast.

[Nosnits]

"You have no idea what I'm going thorough, Naru." Nora says, but seemms to be running out of steam a bit. "I told you what was wrong, and...and you just shrugged....it...it off."

[muffinstud]

"So you mean to say you're still royally embarrassed about singing in front of a bunch of people? They didn't heckle you, did they?"
[btw, made a full color map of the Nexus on the first post. me so happy!]

[Nosnits]

"No, they didn't, they were all cheering, I just didn't want anyone to know! It's embarrassing!" Nora has seemed to pick up steam, but looks a little weaker.

[muffinstud]

"So you didn't want anyone to know you're a good singer." Naru shrugs and whips out some toast, putting a couple more slices in before offering it to the two girls. "Who wants some toast?"

[Nosnits]

"I...I'm n..not a good singer...I...I fail at it...." Nora says. "...And...what did you put in those omelets?"

[Ookalf]

"So you didn't want anyone to know you're a good singer." Naru shrugs and whips out some toast, putting a couple more slices in before offering it to the two girls. "Who wants some toast?"
