This is actually old hat... look.
However, I'm very happy that someone's gotten this into the market and is actually putting it to practical use. That in and of itself is about as difficult as making the device sometimes.

Uhm, there is a movie called "Surrogate", in which the people who are sick and disabled get to "Upgrade" to synthetic humanoid bodies.
