The Mungojerrie: Rolling On (Part 2)

[AmbushCat]

*Still inside the restaurant, Callista facepalms and plops down in a chair, not even needing to check the security screens to see what happened.*

Callista: I go and do something nice for someone. And what do they do? Discard it like so much trash... please, someone go and grab those bags I left behind.

*Shrugging, Goldie splits off a fragment of herself and sends it to collect the clothes that Callista had to abandon when they fled.*

[Harri-chan]

The 13 year old was soon on her way back in, her heels, skirt and jacket bundled in her arm, her other hand trying to hold her panties up, her blouse slipping close to the ends of her shoulders, "CALLISTA!".

[AmbushCat]

*Callista doesn't look up, instead affixing her sunglasses to her face and leaning on the table she is sitting at, one arm propping up her head. She makes no move to respond when her name is called.*

[Harri-chan]

She wanders across to the girl, struggling with her over-sized busines suit, "You said with a full charge it would-", and suddenly tumbled over, her carried clothing being scattered across the floor as she lands on her chest at Callisa's feet.

[AmbushCat]

*Callista mutters and grabs the clothing off the floor with one hand, helping "Ciel" off the ground with the other. She considers herself thankful both for her sunglasses and the fact that the crowd is fairly limited in scope this evening.*

Callista: I know exactly what I said; with a full charge, you wouldn't regress to your previous form on your own. What went wrong is that you got on the wrong side of Circe, and outside factors will make a mess of things. *sighs* I did try to apologize to you, you know.

[Harri-chan]

Gets up to her feet, her adult-sized panties left on the floor, so it was a good thing her blouse was now down passed her knees. "Circe? The blonde woman? Ha, this is the best she can do when threatening to turn someone into a little girl?", she said, slumping down beside Callista. "How long left for the gun to ch... oh crap... ".

[AmbushCat]

*Callista yanks the tablecloth off an empty table and wraps it around her.*

Callista: Yeah, that would've been my reaction if my parents hadn't raised me not to use that language. *sternly* I sent someone out to pick up the bags we abandoned earlier; quite frankly, I'm surprised you summoned up the nerve to walk in here in that condition.

[Harri-chan]

She glances at Callista and frowns, "You walked in here, didn't you? And I think we already went over how you're even less developed than I am in this form".

[AmbushCat]

*Irritated, Callista stoops down and whispers in Ginny's ear.*

Callista: You know what I mean. Clothes oversized, trying to keep what you have on from going anyplace... you could've at least wrapped yourself in something before going back in here.

[Harri-chan]

"Oh yes, I should have just grabbed some of those teenage girl clothes that were growing on the tree outside the entrance", she snapped, folding her arms across her chest.

[AmbushCat]

Callista: You could've done something, you know. For crying out loud, tying the stuff you had on around you would've worked as a temporary fix.

[Harri-chan]

She blushed, "I don't want to be a blonde... ", fingers playing with her hair before letting out a sigh, "This is just great!".

[AmbushCat]

Callista: So, does this mean you won't accept my apology?

[Harri-chan]

She was silent for a moment, chewing her lip and looking down at herself, then glaring at Callista.

".... Apology accept", she huffed.

[AmbushCat]

*Callista gives a relieved sigh...then reaches over and gives "Ciel" a one-armed hug.*

Callista: Thank you, Miss Matthews. You have no idea how much better that makes me feel.
