Callista: I'm getting into that. There are a few different occupations you can choose from; they all pay the same, around $60,000 or so, so which one you choose basically depends on your preferences.

First off, part of the facility has had a swimming pool and the like installed recently. Your job would be to make sure that the pool is cleaned periodically, and that the area around it is suitable for use.

Choice #2: There is a movie theater elsewhere on the ship, and several times a week there are these people that use it to watch and make fun of bad movies. You'd be acting as an usher, making sure their comments aren't too noisy, providing snacks in case they'd want any, and cleaning up after them once they leave.

Number Three: Tending the arcade cabinets and computer consoles up in the restaurant, make sure that deposited coins are removed at the end of the day, making sure that area is orderly, and turning them off at the end of the business day.

Lastly, #4: Remember that black cat that jumped on me before we went shopping? That is Ambush Cat, the one who is renting the restaurant from me. Two of his kids, Eebon and Echo, are constant costumers here during vacation periods and weekends. Your job would be to give them something to do when they aren't eating or hitting the arcade; like say, a little education on the side.

She folds her arms infront of her across the table, blushing at each suggestion, and sinking down a little in her chair as she considered each one. "Do each of those jobs have... uniforms?", she asks, knowing she was going to have to pick one no matter what... and Callista was effectively going to become her Boss.

Hm? Is she?

*nods* Yes. It'll be interesting to see what she decides to do.

She folds her arms infront of her across the table, blushing at each suggestion, and sinking down a little in her chair as she considered each one. Callista: The theater usher and arcade jobs do; the pool cleaning and kid-watching jobs don't. If you went with a job that required a uniform, I suggest wearing something that allows you a higher degree of dignity; I know that Circe requires the standard maid uniform on the people she has work here, but I wouldn't be caught dead in one of those things, and I know you wouldn't want something like that either.

I guess I should stick to what I'm used to, which is dealing with kids and teaching... the pool sounded a nice place to spend your time, but... I've never been good at cleaning.

Callista: Alright, job #4 it is. I'll give you a quick rundown on Ambush's kids so you know what to expect when you meet them.

*Callista walks over to the projector, switching it on and flicking off the lights. She retrieves a color transparency and places it on the projector. The picture seen there is of a black-furred felinoid, around 3'6" to 4' in height, wearing a T-shirt for a place called "Cedar Point" and poring over some schoolwork with an agitated look*

The first child, Eebon. She's only a year old, give or take a few months, but don't let her age fool you; she's more than capable of intelligent speech and interacting with others. She can be a bit bratty at times, too.

*The shopfreak waits a few moments for this to sink in, then changes transparencies. This picture is of a Black Maine Coon, smaller than Ambush Cat but well past kittenhood. It is sitting on a kitchen table, appearing for all intents and purposes to be playing Solitaire.*

The second child, Echo; if they were the same species, they'd be twins. He knows how to talk, albeit at a more limited scale than his sister, but he's very polite and attentive...and a lot smarter than he looks.

A year old? You never said they were babies... *she mumbles, although looking at the first child, she didn't seem too far off Megan's current height. Blushing, she squints to see if the girl's figure was as good as her own* I'm used to dealing with teenagers...

*Due to the looseness of the T-shirt, Eebon's measurements aren't very apparent.*

Callista: There are two others, but neither of them have expressed any interest in coming here, so you just have to deal with Eebon and Echo Harrison. Any more questions?

*nods* Yes. It'll be interesting to see what she decides to do.

[Harri-chan]

She shakes her head and blushes, "No... boss... ", she says, her hands playing nervously with her short white skirt as she sat in the grown-up chair across from Callista. "Thanks for... letting me stay here and stuff... ".

Callista: *smiles softly* It's not a problem, Megan. Don't worry about it. *switches on the lights and takes care of the projector* So, what say I show you where you're going to be staying?

[Harri-chan]

She nods a little, getting up out of her chair and brushes down the skirt, then tugs the unicorn t-shirt a little. "We put that nice suit in my size back on the rack... didn't we?", she murmurs as she walks around the table.

[AmbushCat]

Callista: Yeah, I had Vacuum---he's the Gengar, by the way--- take the suit and the teen clothes you preferred over to the room while we were in here.

*Callista leads Megan out of the conference room and back to the turbolift, taking them up a few decks.*

"Oh, that's great. I thought we'd decided not to buy it, but after seeing you down there.. in a weird way, you looked really grown-up... ", she blushes, rubbing her eyes a little as the ride the turbolift upwards. "When will I start the new job?".
