Callista: Well, since it's a bit late for the kids to be out and about, chances are you'll be starting tomorrow. Since I'm not a big fan of wage calculations, you'll be getting paid whether they show up or not; still, I fully expect them to be here at lunchtime.
*smiles* And as for my temperament back there, I can be serious when I need to be. Most of the time, though, I'm very informal.

*The lift door opens out into a long hallway lined with doors, similar to what is seen at most hotels. Callista leads Megan to room #105, takes a card key out and sweeps it through the lock, unlocking the door.*

She continues to be impressed as Callista unlocks the door for her, "You... really are a grown up inside... Boss... just like me... ", she murmurs, pushing open the door, and then holds it for Callista to come inside too before she has a little look around the room. "So... this is home.. ".

*The room is roughly the size of a large hotel room, with one queen-sized bed instead of two (with accompanying nightstand and lamp) and painted an off-white, and possessing adequate lighting. The carpet is a dark blue. Sitting on top of a large dresser is a television and DVD/VCR; a quick check of the dresser itself reveals a refurbished Super NES, the remotes for said appliances, and a manual entitled "Interdimensional Connection -- TV Channel Guide". A refrigerator and small counter, with a cabinet built in, are right next to the door. Another dresser and a large closet are located towards the back of the room; the latter has the clothes from earlier hanging inside. A small table and two chairs are in one corner. Lastly, there is a large bathroom and towel closet at the back.*

Callista: *hands Megan the card key* For what's missing, there's a laundry room and kitchen down a short ways in the hall. Hopefully, everything you need should already be back here, but you can let us know if anything needs taken care of.

She eyes the console for a moment, and then looks back to Callista as she moves around the room, "This is pretty nice... I always enjoyed staying at hotels... ", she says, peeking into the bathroom before coming back out and looking in the closet. "I'm feeling kind of tired, but you're welcome to stay, Boss.. ".

Callista: *smiles weakly* Much as I'd like to, it's getting kind of late for me as well. I did promise someone that I'd watch Rocky & Bullwinkle with them when I got home.

She nods her head, and looks a little disappointed. "I guess I shall see you soon then, Boss.. ", she murmurs, and starts pulling searching the closet, pulling out a pair of pajamas in her size, pale blue with white clouds on them.

Callista: Alright, I'll see you then.

*Callista smiles and turns away. Before she steps through the door, she stops and turns her head.*

You can just call me by name if you want, but it's your call.

*With that, she leaves and shuts the door behind her.*

----------

*Back in the restaurant proper, Goldie chuckles quietly for reasons known only to herself.*

((OOC: Thunderstorm, huh? Yeah, that would do it.))

*smiles* I wouldn't know much about that last part. My feet are too large for heeled shoes, so I typically just go barefoot.

Lost shrugs. "I kinda like them, nya. Besides, I think Circe might object to a maid not in heels. Anyway, how can I help at the moment, nya?"

Things seem to be pretty quiet, for now. I just got an order for a tuna casserole with cheese, so lets work on that. *makes sure no one else is listening, then whispers to Lost* Aldonza has something planned for Circe in a little over a week. Want in on the fun?

Lost nods, pulling out cans of tuna. "Sure, nya. What's her idea?"

*gets out a bag of shredded cheese and a box of noodles* Aldonza wants to throw an "Appreciation Party" for Circe at her manor. Ambush Cat's agreed to provide a distraction for her so that we can get the building's interior decorated. *normal volume* There's a pot down and to your right that we can use for this dish.

Lost pulls out the pot and puts it down. "A serious one, nya? Wow, that'd be a change of pace for her. She does seem to feel unappreciated, nya. I'd love to help!"

*takes a container of sour cream* Great. The date for it is likely going to be on September 2. I don't know how long Ambush Cat will be able to keep her distracted, so we'll need to work quickly. See if you can get ready to have some balloons blown.
