*A transparent blue-tinged energy field enshrouds that half of the gym, protecting against collateral damage and allowing those on the other side to watch. Two holographic counters appear somewhere overhead.*

Callista: Alright, thanks!

*takes two 20 oz. bottles of Mountain Dew out of her shopping bag and throws them at Circe*

[Circe]

*Circe runs from the incoming explosives.*

[AmbushCat]

*The bottles explode where Circe had been a few seconds prior; any damage done is virtually negligible.*

*Callista jets upward a few feet, her costume's flight mode allowing her to hover in place. Grabbing a large gun from an unseen holster, she prepares herself for any retaliation.*

[Circe]

Fira! *Circe throws a lrge fireball at Callista.*

*Issuing a battle cry, Callista raises the gun and fires a trio of water bullets. The area between the two is momentarily obscured by a cloud of steam and mist as they connect with the fireball, briefly shielding the two from each others' sight.*

[Circe]

*Though can't see it, Callista will find the fireball is no longer coming at her. Seems the water bullets did the trick.*

[AmbushCat]

Callista: *holsters her gun for the moment* Can't see anything with all that steam... going to have to remedy that. *morphs her purse into an oversized harisen and swings it with all her might, blowing the steam away*

[Circe]

*Callista finds Circe still where she was.* I believe it's your turn.

[AmbushCat]

*Callista morphs the fan into a replica of her Element Gun, then re-draws the original. From one gun she begins firing fist-sized water bullets; from the other, electrical orbs that are roughly the same size.*

[Circe]

*Circe summons up a wall of rock between her and the blasts.*

[AmbushCat]

*Both types of bullets hit the rock wall, taking out chinks of it but not penetrating. Frowning, Callista shifts her aim upwards and sends several shots in an arc over the wall.*

[Circe]

*Circe, who can't exactly see Callista through the wall, doesn't notice the shots coming until too late.* Note to self, get x-ray vision...

[AmbushCat]

*Several water bullets, followed closely by an electrical bullet, manage to hit Circe directly; the rest miss her entirely. Callista hovers backwards just a bit, waiting for her next move.*
